Trip is a good boy very loving affectionate. He's still a puppy. I am blending my family and Trip doesn't get a long with Mars. I don't think that is trips fault. I am only allowed 1 dog and the other dog has been with his family 5 years. I wish that wasn't case I don't want money. I want him to go to a good home with a patient family whos going to love him. I am not requiring you to fix him within 30 days. Six1zero 7six3 9sixsix9

Story
Sadie is an extremely loving 50lb catahoula/Pit mix female who was born on October 7, 2021. What a beauty she is and one with great manners.  She is fully potty trained and crate trained, spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Sadie comes from a neglect situation and is eager to make up for all the cuddles and play time she didn’t receive growing up in her former home. She has an extremely resilient personality and an eager to please temperament. She sincerely craves human interaction and will follow you around the house to be a part of everything you’re doing. When hugged, she likes to hug back by tucking her head around you and pressing in. She cooperates very well for bath time and settles well on car rides. Sadie behaves nicely in public spaces and happily accepts belly rubs from strangers. She has very limited experience around children but is happy to meet everyone she comes across. She is not recommended to homes with very young children simply for the concern of potential knocking them down. She has learned to sit when she wants to be pet, but may occasionally jump up if overly excited. Sadie must go to a home without other pets due to resource guarding around dogs (this does not apply to humans, she is submissive toward humans) and prey drive toward cats.  Her energy level is medium-high. She loves playing fetch to burn off energy, and would probably run for hours if given the opportunity, but she can also settle calmly on those days when it’s stormy or you’re too busy for intensive exercise. She likes to entertain herself with her toys, and is particularly fond of carrying the stuffed toys around to show them off. She needs someone who can deeply connect with her on an emotional level, and would be well suited to the role of emotional support animal (please note: due to resource guarding she is not suitable for the role of service dog, which is different from emotional support animal).    If you want to give this girl a great home to thrive within, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue  at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 25, 2024, 1:14 pm

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Scrappy is looking for a home! Please share! Scrappy was abandoned, left in a house without food or water. Thankfully a young man took him in but then moved out, leaving Scrappy with his grandmother. She’s been taking care of him, but she didn’t sign up to have him, and isn’t in the position to keep him. He is a smart boy and learns quickly. He would like to be a lap dog! He is about 2 years old and about 60lbs. He is house trained but will mark in the house because he is not yet neutered. He is young and playful. He has some separation anxiety but that may lessen with more exercise and more playtime. He currently lives with another dog and being with the other dog seems to really help with the separation anxiety. He is a counter surfer and constantly looking for food.He needs to be taught to walk on a leash and be socialized. This dog has so much potential!! Please consider him. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.12/12 This boy is striking!! He started at Paws in Prison this week. While there, he’ll work with inmates as well as a dog trainer to learn the basics, leash walking, etc. He’ll graduate in 8 weeks with his canine good citizen certificate and then he’ll be ready to go to his new home! Who is going to be the lucky family to adopt this handsome fella? This is Aries who has one brown eye and one piercing blue one, which give him what’s commonly called an intense gaze. It’s like he has X-ray vision and can see through you and into the back corners of your mind. He can’t, but that blue eye does look magical! He’s a striking Catahoula mix and has the spots to prove it. Aries is house trained and enjoyed interacting with the pre school aged child in the home he was fostered in. He is very much a catahoula personality, with a need for exercise and stimulation. He can be stubborn, but he also loves big and is a lot of fun to be around. Aries is about 10 months old. We don’t have his weight yet, but a preliminary guesstimate puts his adult weight at 65 pounds. We’ll adjust that when we get more info. Aries is a people dog and gets along fine with other dogs. He’s bright, friendly and eager to make friends of all. The inmate trainers will work on his commands, manners and focus. He’s still a puppy with a short attention span. Aries needs direction, attention and love. The inmates teach him all that and more. Our prediction…Aries will be a superstar! He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative , and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. He is very much a catahoula personality, with a need for exercise and stimulation. He can be stubborn, but he also loves big and is a lot of fun to be around. He is a good boy who would benefit from some training, but has the potential to be a great buddy. He would do great as an agility dog or just a hiking/running partner! Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Striped like a tiger, he is. That’s because Harley has a pretty brindle coat. The stripes are most prominent on his back. Harley is a handsome puppy with lots of little kid energy and a dose of showboat to go with it. He’s very smart and quick footed. Harley needs manners. His aren’t good, but he’s not to blame. Manners are hard to come by on the end of chain in a backyard. That’s where he’s spent his whole life, which is horrible. He appears to be a mountain cur mix, and a good looking one, at that. Maybe Catahoula mix? He’s 5 months old. Give the inmate trainers a few weeks with Harley and he’s going to be a great sidekick!!! Harley is good with other dogs.
