We adopted Shiki through a shelter in philadelphia that had a litter as a puppy. At the time (and still to this day) we had another dog, Dino. Things were great for almost 4 years. Shiki has always been incredibly food motivated so we have kept them apart around food. he also has a very strong prey drive. Recently, we moved to a new home outside of Philadelphia here in Bushkill. The dogs love the new space, but there was an incident shortly after moving involving a bag of food left on the floor, which resulted in Shiki attacking Dino for coming near it. Dino needed reconstructive surgery for his ear and their relationship has been irrevocably changed. They are “crate and rotating” as per behavioralists’ advice, but neither has fulfilling lives now as they are crated half the day. We need someone who can dedicate the time and energy to love Shiki. He is so intelligent and trainable, but we can’t abandon our older dog to commit to him. Please reach out, Shiki needs you.

Ahoy there! SeaBiscuit here, looking to sail away to a good home! Landlubbers say I have gorgeous coloring and am rather unique looking (I would say aye to that.) I narrowly escaped being euthanized for space at an overcrowded shelter but a kind family saw my photo and decided to foster me. Talk about lucky!! Here are a few things to know about me. I am an energetic mate but settle down quickly. My fosters say I just melt into them and can’t get enough cuddling and snuggling. I am good with their teenage daughter and love her so much. I am friendly, playful, fun, know sit, give kisses, affectionate. I am house trained and crate trained. I know sit, lay down commands and I am working on touch, focus, turn, and stay commands. What else do you need to know? I have enjoyed the company of other dogs at the shelter and am trying to make friends with the dog in my foster home, except he’s taking his time to get to know me. He needs an understanding home. This pup is great with other dog. We have started crate training and potty training. I am open to offering a very reduced adoption fee to the right home. This pup will be current on vaccines, deworming, preventives. This pup will be micro-chipped. This pup will receive a physical and a certificate of health prior to going home. Meet BAM! Bam is now 2 years, 2 months old and 62 lbs. He was abandoned in McKenzie, TN at a rental property. HOW HORRID! He had much higher energy back in Feb 2023. But with an AMAZING, dedicated foster Mom...Bam has established a regular exercise routine and he has nicely smoothed out his energy now. Bam's 'thing' is his georgeous blue eyes. They look like jewels glistening at ya! I did the breed app check. And if shows mostly American Fox Hound with mix of Louisianna Catahoula Leopard. I'm going with it as his breed has had us puzzled. Bam is great with all the dogs in his foster home...of both genders, all ages, and various breeds. He is good on leash, rides well, crates & house trained. If you are looking for a cuddle buddy, Atlas is the guy for you. His unique looks and amazingly sweet and inquisitive personality are products of his rich breed mixture. Atlas (also known as "Mr. Steal Your Heart and Pillow") enjoys long walks, short car rides, exploring, cooling off in creeks, lounging around the house, playing tug, unstuffing plush toys, wrestling and playing the bitey face game with his doggy sibling, cuddling in bed, and anything else that allows him to spend time with his family. At almost 3 years old, he has outgrown most undesirable puppy behaviors, but is still an active boy who requires adequate exercise. He does well with children and other dogs. He has done well with cats! He likes to lead walks and can be overly eager to meet new dog friends, so some training in those areas is recommended. He also gets overwhelmed in busy settings and sometimes experiences stranger danger so it is advised to avoid crowded settings unless addressed by a trainer. He is overnight crate trained, but he becomes anxious when left in the crate for extended periods of time during the day so his ideal home would have a pet parent who is home for the greater part of the day. Atlas is learning how to pull carts. He is a very smart dog and seeks to please his owners. Atlas is house/potty trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives.
