We adopted Otis when he was around 8 months old. He is now 7, and absolutely a good boy. Very energetic over the years and has a knack for herding us, the kids, and the cat whenever possible. He loves wide open spaces and does best with large yards and or lots of land. We’re looking for someone who can help give Otis the space he deserves, as through career changes, kids, and buying a home, his space has shrunk vastly. He loves regular walks or runs, but is at his happiest off his leash and running with other dogs/chasing toys. While he has done fine with our kids and others who have visited, he is unaware of just how big he is and often knocks them over (mostly due to our smaller home that he is not used to). We have had several cats as well, which he mostly just enjoys playing with while again not realizing how much larger he is. He is very intelligent and loves being trained as well.

Found abandoned on her foster’s rental property at a tiny 3 weeks old, Peppa is ready for a fresh start with a loving family. She has been fully vaccinated with age-appropriate vaccines, spayed, and dewormed. Peppa is also on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, ensuring she’s in top health. Peppa loves spending time outdoors, playing, and exploring the world around her. She gets along well with other dogs, loves kids, and tolerates cats, making her a great addition to a variety of households. Most of all, she’s a cuddle bug who absolutely loves her people and other pets. She prefers to sleep close to her humans at night. She uses a doggie door and is potty trained with an occasional night time accident. (She doesn't like going outside alone in the dark.) This distinguished gentleman is Todd! Todd is an approximately 7.5-year old male Treeing Walker Hound mix who weighs around 50 lbs. Todd was adopted at 1-year old and returned to the rescue recently when the family decided they wanted a new puppy and Todd could not “warm” up to the puppy. Todd is searching for a loving forever home that will include him in activities and give him lots of love and attention. He loves to run in the yard, so he needs a securely fenced back yard. Todd has done really well with the other dogs he has met, but prefers those who are laid back and not in his face. Todd can be playful and energetic, but he can also be laid back and loving. A perfect combination! He appears house-trained, will go in a crate (but not a fan), and is good on a leash. He is neutered, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped.
