Hi, I am Rudolf! I am about 3-4 years old and a very good boy looking for my new fur-ever home! I'm great indoors or outdoors and know many commands. I love snuggling and being close or going on adventures as long as I'm with my person/people. I do well with all kinds of other animals but strangers tend to spook me. I would do well with a family that is home often or is willing to take me on adventures with them. I can be very active or very lazy. I'm potty trained and kennel trained. I walk okay on a leash but could use some additional training as my current and previous handlers trained me off leash. I'm a good boy who waits at doors when told "wait" and I won't touch my food until you tell me "break". I can sit, stay, wait, lay down, come, and respond to my name. I can also shake, spin, and am very food motivated and learn new tricks quickly! I don't play with toys very often but occasionally I'll take a nice bone. I can't wait to meet you!

Rubys story began when she was found abandoned in a park with her five week old puppies. She was a devoted and attentive mama who kept her babies safe until they were old enough to find their forever homes. Now its Rubys turn to find a family. Ruby is a 3 year old, 45 lb sweetheart with a loving and athletic spirit. She loves romping outside, squeaky toys, learning new things, and curling up for cuddles with her people. She absolutely lights up when she sees familiar people. Her tail wag is endless and she happily soaks up belly rubs and affection. Shes housebroken, crate trained and currently lives happily in a family setting with kids, dogs, and cats. She does best with slow intros to new dogs but once she realizes they are friendly shes very sweet, playful and submissive. She is a wonderful cat companion also and totally ignores them, including the litter box. Ruby completed a 3 week board and train program and did AMAZING. Her trainer was impressed with how quickly she picks up new skills and how eager she is to work. She learned all kinds of obedience skills and manners. She can be anxious meeting new people outside her comfort zone so adopters without expectations of taking her out and about to busy places is ideal. Shes a simple girl that loves the familiarity and routine of home and walks in nature. Rubys quite agile and can jump low fences so high fences and/or supervision while shes outdoors is a must. If youre looking for a loyal, loving companion and believe in giving a dog with a hard background a second chance, Ruby might just be your girl! Ruby is spayed, microchipped, utd on vaccines and prevention and negative for both heart worms and tick diseases. Our Rescue is 100% donation based all the way to adoption.
