Story
Courtesy Post Contact Jordan if you are interested in adopting Leah: 440-742-1112 Leah is the definition of a gentle soul. She is a Catahoula Leopard mix, born in April 2015, and has been a beloved part of my life since I rescued her from Parma Animal Shelter in 2016. She is short-haired and weighs 55 to 60 pounds, making her the perfect size for a companion dog. As much as it pains me, my lifestyle no longer allows me to give her the time and attention she deserves. I am looking for a loving home where she can enjoy her golden years with someone who is home every day and can provide her with the companionship she thrives on. Why Leah is an Amazing Dog: Sweetest Personality – Leah is incredibly loving and affectionate. She bonds deeply with her people and is happiest just being by your side. Great with Kids – She has been around kids of all ages and is beyond gentle with them. Loves All Animals – Whether it is other dogs or even cats, Leah gets along with everyone. She has never met a furry friend she did not like. Loves Car Rides and Walks – One of Leah’s favorite things is going for a ride or taking a nice walk. She is always up for an adventure. Quiet and Well-Behaved – She never barks, except for one very justified time when my neighbor with dementia wandered into my house at 2 AM (good girl, Leah!). Stays in the Yard – Even if another dog is being walked down the street, she is not the type to chase or run off. She knows her boundaries. Completely Housebroken – Leah has never had an accident indoors. She understands and respects her space. Mealtime Routine – Leah eats twice a day: -Morning: Between 6:30 - 8 AM -Evening: Between 5 - 6:30 PM Her preferred food is Blue Buffalo Senior Blend and her meals must be proportionally distributed to maintain her health. The Perfect Companion – She does not need much, just love, a cozy spot to relax, and a human to be near. What Leah Needs in a Home: -Someone who is home every day and can provide her with attention and companionship. -A loving environment where she can enjoy her golden years stress-free. -A place where she can continue being the amazing, low-maintenance, loving dog that she is. Leah has been an amazing companion, and this is an incredibly difficult decision for me. But I know that the right home will give her the quality of life she deserves. If you or someone you know can provide Leah with a caring, stable home, please reach out. She truly is one of a kind, and whoever welcomes her into their life will be getting a best friend for life.

Story
Ariel is an 8-month-old Catahoula Leopard Dog with a heart full of sweetness but a shy and nervous nature. She thrives in a calm and patient environment where she can build confidence at her own pace. Due to her sensitivity to new experiences, she would do best in a home without children. She does well with other confident but not overly dominant dogs who can help guide her and show her the way. With love, patience, and a gentle approach, Ariel is sure to blossom into a loyal and loving companion. Please note Ariel is currently in a foster home and not available for same day meet and greets. Ariel will be returning to the shelter Monday 3/3/25.
