Story
Hello, I'm Banjo! I've got energy to spare and love to share. I'm the kind of dog who's always ready for an adventure, whether it's a hike in the woods or a romp in the park. I'm also a champion cuddler. After a day of play, there's nothing I love more than curling up at your feet, content to just be near you. I love children and most other dogs too. Just a cool fella!! I'm loyal to a fault, and once I've given you my heart, it's yours forever. I'm looking for a family who can match my zest for life and who will cherish my sweet, friendly nature. If you're looking for a companion who will love you unconditionally and brighten your every day, then I'm your dog. Adopt me and let's start our forever adventure together.

Story
Mr. Smee is a handsome, loving, and happy guy who is just waiting for the perfect family to come and take him home. He is a sweet and friendly boy who loves to play and get lots of affection. He is very affectionate and likes to give kisses to his favorite people. Although he can be a bit shy at times, given time and space, he warms up to people quickly. Mr. Smee would love a fun loving patient home to call his own. Due to his unknown history we are learning more about him with each and every day. He is eager to please and wants to soak up all the love and affection one has to share. Mr. Smee came to the shelter as a stray on September 3, 2024 and wasnt reclaimed so he’s awaiting his chance at a happily ever after. He is approximately 6 years old and is up to date on all his shots. He is a healthy and well-behaved boy who is just waiting for his special someone to come and take him home. If you think you could be the right match for Mr. Smee, please consider adopting If you have another dog and are interested in meeting another potential new furry member please bring him or her to the shelter and meet on neutral ground before adopting. No need to shuffle the animals around any more than necessary. Please know that 1 mosquito bite can create heart worms and they can be fatal if not treated. It is VERY important to keep your pets healthy and protected by keeping them on a once a month heart worm and flea/tick prevention. These animals are counting on you as their owner to provide them with lots a love and the proper health care so PLEASE make sure you are aware and prepared before adopting. Owning a pet is an extra expense and responsibility but is so worth every minute and penny you invest in them. They will add lots of joy and unconditional love if given a fair chance. The shelter is open Mon.-Fri. 10-1, 2-5, Sat. 10-4. Adopt a homeless pet and save a life. If you can not adopt right now come out and volunteer and make a difference in the lives of these animals while they await their FOREVER home. In order to adopt any of our "bully breeds" there is special paper work that will need to be collected and approved prior to the adoption. We love all of our dogs and want to make sure to place our "bully babies" in homes best suited for them.
