Story
Oreo is very loving and loves to be petted. He loves to be outside, walking and running. He is protective as well which can be problem sometimes when guest are visiting. He need to warm up to you. We had Oreo since he was 8 weeks old. Unfortunately due to both owners working full time and children being in sports we are not home very much so he is unable to have companionship, like he needs. He is left home alone often which I believe have developed some bad behaviors such as being defiant, to command more often. He also have accidents in the house even after he goes outside. He needs a home where the family have more time to enjoy all the love he can give them. He may also enjoy more land to run around on as well. He would benefit from a strong and consistent companion.

Story
Hi my name is Rilee Mae, I am a female approximately 5 years old and my breed is Catahoula leopard border collie mix. I weigh approximately 55 pounds. I am very intelligent, well trained and very sweet and I love to work hard. I am an excellent watchdog. I love to put my nose under your hand to remind you to pet me! I’m hoping to find a quiet home where I can be both mentally and physically stimulated on a daily basis. To live my very best life, I would thrive with the attention I crave. Has a high prey drive so not cat tested but I would imagine not unless the cat can hold its own a some can! Would be good with older kids that do not run around/get rowdy. With a 6 yr old now and she is good with her but when she has friends over it’s too much for Rilee. She has been trained and is potty trained and crate trained. Best with being an only dog or having the other dog larger than her might be best. Originally, from Texas, so she LOVES the sun and absolutely love car rides!.

These pups are in Buffalo, New York too!

Gunner is a purebred treeing Walker Coonhound he is loving affectionate good with children not sure about small children he is not good with small animals but good with larger dogs he is not a cat person Gunner is high energy needs to be run and very playful he is one years old up-to-date on all his shots , also had the lime and lepto vaccine.he has not been fixed he does have a few issues he is very hyper and can be stubborn as far as being allowed on furniture Gunner would be suited with the home that has a nice open fenced-in yard he does need to run he does not have that now he knows basic commands and has gone to training school but he is strong-willed very vocal but if he is allowed to run and play he will lay around and just be content with his owner. his crate trained to be able to be created up to 8 or 9 hours if needed but usually is not created unless I'm at work he needs more than I can offer him and in my small apartment. Howe-Howe is named after Mr. Hockey, Gordie Howe! He’s a lovable, caring, protector. He’s been such a big part of our family and we want to ensure he finds the perfect forever home that he deserves. He likes to bask in the sun on sunny days and loves delicious treats. We are looking for an experienced owner who can help train him in the areas where he needs it. He is a very sensitive dog and needs a family that will treat him as such, a gentle loving home.

Story
Name: MaddieDOB: 07/01/2024Breed: Rhodesian Ridgeback mixWeight: 28 lbsGender: FemaleLocated: Southtowns Hi, my name is Maddie. I’m so happy to be here. I just came up here from Texas where I was a stray until some wonderful people cared for me until I could get my ride to Buffalo. I love playing with my furry foster sister. I also love toys and chewing on bones. After playing, I love to cuddle and nap. I sleep all night in my crate without a peep. I’m almost potty trained. I go when I’m outside, but need to work on letting people know when I’m ready to go out. I’m very treat motivated- I’m getting pretty good at sit and touch. I’m also learning to walk on a leash. I follow my foster sister during our walks so I’m doing pretty good. I love it here and I’m ready to find my forever family. I’m a medium energy puppy who’d love to be your companion on walks and adventures followed up with cuddles and naps. I’m good with other dogs and kids (maybe not too little since I’ll be a bigger dog). I tried to chase the cat to play (she wasn’t interested), so maybe I shouldn’t be with a kitty?  If I sound like the sweet girl you’ve been looking for, please apply at www.716paws.org/adopt or if you’re already approved send them a message. I can’t wait to meet you. ##2228389##
