Story
Welcome, Aspen! Say hello to Aspen, the newest member of our rescue family! This gorgeous little girl lost her home after her family was evicted, ending up in an inner-city animal control facility. Despite her tough start, Aspen is the sweetest girl with the most stunning Merle coat, striking blue eyes, and unique markings—she may even be part Catahoula Leopard Dog! Aspen is a little nervous but warms up with time. She has no food resource guarding and has tested well with other dogs. Due to her timid nature, a home with older kids would be best. A big thank you to our volunteers Nicole and Joe for giving Aspen her freedom ride and to our partner Stephanie for ensuring she received her vet care. Aspen will be staying with our amazing board members, George and Jenn—thank you both for helping us save another life! 🩵🩵 Aspen will be available for foster-to-adopt while she waits for her vaccine booster. Ready to meet this beautiful girl? Apply today at pittiesandpals.com.

Story
Hi, my name is River! I just came up from rural Tennessee to find my forever home! I’ve heard New Yorkers are the best : ) A little about me I’m a 10-11 month Catahoula mix and i’m only 37 pounds—a perfect medium-size me! I’m super sweet, curious, chill, very loving...and quiet! I never bark! I’m great with other dogs of all sizes, including my foster brother. And I love kids, too, including my human foster sister. My foster mom calls me a sweet mush which i’ll take as a compliment, thank you. I’m house trained and i already know “sit!”. My foster mom is working on “down” and so far so good. Because i wasn’t around many people in Tennessee, i’m a little shy at first but within an hour, i was already plopped at my foster family’s feet. The sights, sounds and smells of the City sometimes make me nervous but i’m confidently walking up to Prospect Park and enjoying all my walks around the neighborhood with my foster brother. My foster mom says i’d be a great companion for literally anyone - single, family, with or without other dogs. I don’t know how i am with cats as i don’t live with one right now. Please apply for me to be your forever family & friend! You won’t regret it, i promise. xoxo, River To see videos of River, visit her IG @adopt_rivergirl If you would like to adopt this Rockstar, please email rescue@pupstarzrescue.org or visit www.pupstarzrescue.org for an application! www.pupstarzrescue.org Please Follow us on Instagram: @pupstarzrescue Like us on FaceBook! www.facebook.com/PupStarzRescue **Puppies are hard work.
