We would like to introduce a very special rescue dog to all of you and her name is Pretty Pearl. Her foster mom says that she has been through fire and back and now she has the character of beautiful PEARL, like in an oyster. She has been formed by adversity and yet her spirit is pure sweetness and love. She has the markings and coloring of a Catahoula mixed with maybe a little Beagle which is what makes her all the more loving and easy going. At about 5-6 years old and just a perfect medium size at just 40 pounds, she is the perfect companion to someone who lives in a smaller environment like an apartment or a townhouse. She truly has an endearing calmness and mellow approach to life and all the people around her notices this unique quality immediately. Nothing ruffles her feathers at all. I take it all in stride and just smooth the edges if needed and keep on going. This girl is the perfect companion to someone that is in an apartment environment or a townhouse. She is small, a couch potatoe that will most certainly be an outstanding companion during the winter months when life seems to slow down and cozy companionship is most desired and welcomed. She was found living outside in horrible conditions and was full of ticks and fleas and very skinny. Well soon she was introduced to the luxury of an inside lifestyle at her foster home and she has NEVER looked back. She goes outside to do her potty breaks and rushes right back inside to keep her human fosters company. Now, if you are outside with her then all is grand. She is a skilled girl on a leash and if you want a hiking or walking buddy then Pearl is ready to go! She has had NO accidents in the house since coming to the foster home. Amazing statistics for a dog that lived outside all her life. Maybe she truly just feels like being called “Queen” Pearl now. She sure is being treated like a queen and she wants to stay in that kind of lifestyle. We think Pretty Pearl will be a wonderful well-kept secret for someone looking for the best companion ever in the world. Pretty Pearl will be the best dog you have ever owned in your life. Rhea: Female, catahoula mix, 1 year old Come meet our adoptable dogs Friday 4-7pm and Saturday 11-3pm at 114 Londonderry Turnpike in Hooksett NH. Please submit an application prior to Open House if you hope to adopt on Saturday. Appointments are also made for the dogs throughout the week. All adult dogs are also tested for heartworm prior to transport that are older than 6 months. All puppies and adult dogs will have seen a NH vet for a health certificate within 14 days of adoption. Unless otherwise noted adoption fees range from $575 on adults and $650 on puppies and adults. Adoption fees reflect the costs we incur on vetting and transporting the dogs. All Motley Mutts are in NH for you to meet to see if there's a connection prior to adoption.

We believe Ric could be a pure bred Catahoula Leopard Dog! And words used to describe the breed describe sweet Ric perfectly: inquisitive, intelligent, energetic, gentle, independent and LOVING. Ric is highly food motivated and is willing to learn anything quickly for a treat! He’s good on a leash, and due to his hound nature would do best with a fenced in yard— he can be a wanderer. He surprisingly passed our cat test with flying colors! He was so gentle and even submissive to the grown cat and 5 kittens we have. Though he is extremely gentle, he could use some manners! He may be prone to counter surfing if he ever got the opportunity, but with work he’d make an amazing house dog! He’s great with every person he meets, and every dog so far. Since he’s a hound, he may would chase pocket pets, as it’s his nature. Ric would make a great running partner, couch potato… really he’d fit into any family as long as he gets love!

Indie was adopted from a rescue at 6 months old (currently 4 years 4months). He is an extremely intelligent, high energy boy who loves to please his owner/handler! He is HIGHLY treat motivated which makes training easy. He is dog reactive and has been through a lot of training to work on good manners but still needs help working through his reactions. He currently goes to a daycare that works on his reactivity in a play environment but should be known that he would unlikely be accepted by daycares that do not have experience accommodating dogs with reactivity or an option for just people play. He is very loving and playful and his favorite is to be outside for plenty of sniffs!
