Story
Our pets are fostered and physically located in Mt.Airy,NC until adopted. Once adopted we can transport to your location or one of our other north eastern delivery locations. This pup is a Catahoula mix. This pup was born 10-20-22. This pup will not be overly large. My educated guess is around 35-40 pounds at maturity. This pup is shy but warms up. This pup is great with other dogs and cats. We have started crate training and potty training. I will consider a reduced fee to the right home! This pup will be current on vaccines, deworming, preventives. This pup will be micro-chipped. This pup will receive a physical and a certificate of health prior to going home. The adopter will get all the health records with adoption. Frances is spayed! We require a prescreen application to adopt. You can get that on our website at www.saveamuttkennel.net

Story
Toffee is available for adoption in Texas only. Meet Toffee, a 6-month-old Catahoula mix with the sweetest personality! While he's cautious due to his limited hearing (he can hear high-pitched sounds or whistles), it doesn't stop him from enjoying life. Toffee loves playing with other dogs, has zero interest in squirrels, and is incredibly gentle with a super soft mouth. He doesn't jump up on people, crates easily, and is almost fully potty trained. Toffee's sweet nature and calm demeanor make him a wonderful companion. He's ready to find a loving forever home! Could Toffee be the sweet addition to your family? Story
Heath is available for adoption in TX, PNW, and NE (excluding MA & NH) Meet Heath, a 8-month-old Catahoula mix with energy and personality to spare! He's a playful, silly boy who loves to be the first to jump into playtime and equally enjoys crashing for a good nap afterward. Heath was a breeze to potty train and actually enjoys his crate time, especially with a chew toy to keep him company. His favorite things include belly rubs and basking in the sun-though he doesn't mind a little fun if you interrupt him for a quick photo op! Heath is ready to bring joy and laughter to his forever home. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Meet Indie! A spirited four-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix from Easton, MA, whose vibrant personality is as striking as his one blue and one amber eye. Wrapped in a sleek white coat with merle patches, Indie is the picture of a playful, intelligent companion who's always up for an adventure—especially if it involves tug-of-war with his favorite rope toy or a game of fetch in the yard! Indie is a true explorer at heart and thrives in an environment where he can stretch his legs, sniff out new scents, and soak in the great outdoors. If you're someone who enjoys outdoor activities, Indie would love nothing more than to join you on long walks, especially in the woods where he can engage all his senses! This lovable goofball is both affectionate and incredibly treat-motivated, which makes training an enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Indie knows an impressive list of commands: "sit," "lay down," "paw," "wait," "leave it," "look," "stay," "gentle," "touch," and even "find it"—he’s eager to show off his smarts for the right reward. He’s also been crate-trained, making him a well-rounded companion when it’s time to settle down after an active day. However, Indie’s high energy means he needs an enriching environment and a dedicated caregiver who understands his needs. He has worked hard through positive reinforcement training to manage his reactivity toward other dogs, but he will need a guardian who can continue helping him with these impulses. Due to this, Indie would thrive best as the only dog in a home without small children, but he gets along well with cats and could be a wonderful feline-friendly addition. With his love for activity, a secure fenced yard is essential for Indie, giving him space to run and explore safely. And while he may take some time to warm up to new people, his loyalty and love shine through once he feels comfortable. He’s crate-trained, house-trained, and on a special vet-prescribed diet due to a chicken intolerance, ensuring his health stays in tip-top shape. Could Indie be the playful, affectionate, and intelligent companion you’re looking for? If so, get ready for endless games of tug-of-war, nature walks, and all the joy he’s ready to bring into your life. Does Indie sound like your next adventure buddy?
