Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Mega is the most precious pup who is special needs and deserves the best home! Although considered special needs he's really your average puppy. He is around 14 weeks old as of September 2, 2023. He currently weighs 20 pounds and he is the sweetest and happiest guy. Mega came to us at just 4 weeks old. His eyes did not fully develop so he is completely blind. He also has a mild case of hydrocephalus but as of now he has no symptoms. We were not familiar with this condition so we have had guidance from our vets but also joined a group on facebook called hydrocephalus in dogs. It has been so helpful and also encouraging. There are many dogs that live happy healthy lives with this condition. Mega is currently on on generic prilosec which is cheap and available over the counter. This is encourage for dogs with his condition. Mega is so happy all of the time. He loves toys, other dogs, cats, all humans, giving kisses, snuggling, car rides, playing tug of war, and he sits on command. He is very treat motivated. Although he is blind he gets around very well. He knows his way around my house and knows exactly where the food and water bowl are. He can even climb steps but does need some help getting down them. He really is perfect in so many ways, and he will make the right family the perfect companion. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines including rabies, microchipped, and current on heartworm prevention. You must have a great vet reference to be consideredVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 7, 2024, 7:54 am

Story
Bubba is full of personality, greatly enjoying the company of people. He is five years old and in the three years since rescue he has come out of his shell, loving to sit by his human and chomp at a bone or snore away during an afternoon nap. Bubba has enjoyed a fenced in backyard the majority of his time since rescue and appreciates the freedom to walk around and observe, keeping him fit while not being the most active dog. He is currently enrolled in a basic obedience course and will do anything for a cookie. Bubba has grown up alongside another female rescue of similar size and was regularly left to roam the house while his human was at work without issue. While they have made good roommates and enjoy rough-housing in the yard, I do believe Bubba would be best suited in a single dog household.

Walnut is a handsome 7-month lanky pup! Walnut is a shy, but sweet boy. He has not experienced much in his life and is learning about the world around him. He has learned he enjoys cuddling he has become very good at it! He loves food so training will be easy. Walnut had a lot of fun playing with another dog recently. He had a great time chasing her and being chased by her, but he did not like sharing toys with her, so that is a work in progress. He is a mix of Catahoula and Preso Canario, plus some unknown. He will be a big boy once full-grown! Walnut is a sweet boy who needs a patient and loving home to show him all he has missed out on, and long couch snuggle sessions!! If you have a vet please contact them to permit them to speak or we can not process your application. Adoption fee-$275 Due to the strict animal import laws in MA, we can not adopt to MA residents.

Story
Meet Lil Miss This sweet girl has had a rough go. She was found by her owner on the road as hit by a car, scared, sad and lonely. She took her to the vet and with their help and her love, she nursed her back to health, and lil miss was finally happy. Sadly, her owner recently passed away, leaving lil miss, once again, sad and lonely. She is being cared after by a sweet friend of her owners in hopes to find her a home that will love her an adore her like she had been. She is kid friendly and dog friendly with a kind and loving disposition. She is a bit apprehensive when it comes to medical care and is somewhat nervous in that situation, but you can't blame her after all the hard things this loving girl has been through. If you have the heart to give, she would be willing to take it. All she needs is a loving home to see her through. Her adoption fee includes her being fully vetted, microchipped and she is available to you via ground transport.
