I have had so many chances in my young life. Seriously...I was found with four siblings at about 2.5 weeks old, dumped in a box at the post office... we were so, so sick and close to death. My rescue mom really worked hard to get us healthy and LIVE. And we did! About 6 weeks later, we all got parvo..... and my rescuer was able to nurse all of us out of it! All my siblings have been adopted, and I am ready too! I am somewhat shy and will take time to settle into my new family. But I will adjust. I am best with another dog, calm and confident, because I will mirror that energy. As a gorgeous catahoula/whippet mix, I have plenty of energy and I love to play! *ADOPTION SPECIAL- REDUCED FEE $100* This is Lainey. We believe that she is a 2-year-old Coonhound. Lainey came to Judy's Forgotten Jewells on June 12th. She was brought to us by an Arkansas shelter that needed to open up space for incoming dogs. Since she has been in care, staff members say that she is a wiggly ball of energy and love! She loves attention, other dogs and wagging her tail. She is still working on leash manners and housebreaking but she seems eager to learn! The adoption fee includes their care, de-worming, microchip, spay, vaccines, fecal test, and preventatives up to the point of adoption. In addition to their adoption fee, there is a $45 fee to cover the 6 months of heartworm prevention we will send home with each adoptee.
