Kat is currently in a foster home so please be mindful that we will need to schedule out an appointment at least 24 hours to give our foster time to bring them in for the appointment. ***BEHAVIOR TESTING***DOG TEST: (Good with Dogs) Kat is currently in a foster with other dogs. She loves to play chase and wrestel with the other puppy in the home and is calm and respects boundaries with the adult dogs in the home. CAT TEST: (Good with Cats with Training) Kat has been very good with the cats in the foster home . She will chase them play when the cats run, which she is currently being trained with and will likely need a bite more training. Once she is in a stable home she will learn very quickly. KID TEST: (Good with kids) Kat is very gentle and loving with kids. HOUSE BROKEN: ( Mostly House Broken) Kat appears to be mostly house broken with few accidents when not attended to outside of her kennel. ENERGY LEVEL: (Medium-High) Kat is still very much a puppy who likes to explore and play. Once she gets her energy out from running around she will snuggle up with the closest person and fall right to sleep. Kat would be a great dog for a young family who wants to go on walks and play around. Then at the end of the day all snuggle up to watch a movie. LEASH WALKING: (Needs Work) Kat is still worried about being on a leash, but with trust and more training she will be great on a leash. Story
Marble was a mom with puppies...they were going to be euthanized in a small shelter in TX. They had a terrible story... they were seized by animal control and the owner was charged and convicted for felony animal cruelty. Marble was in a crate that was way too small for her, and the puppies were in a separate crate. She originally had 6 pups but one had passed away. When animal control found them, one of the pups was feeding on the decreased sibling in order to survive. Mama and puppies were living in their own excrement, and all were extremely emaciated when found. Now, they were in the shelter...all out of time. Hoping for rescue a chance to experience a happy life. Our amazing coordinator worked to get them out and we had amazing fosters who opened their homes to these beautiful pups. Now, Marble is living in the loved life for the first time in her foster home...and some of her babies are off with their families. She's ready for what every dog should know...a loving home. Her foster family adores her. She's a feisty girl with a heart of gold who LOVES deeply and adores cuddling. She's on the small side of medium and is adorable!!! She had tested positive for heartworm, but has completed treatment and is ready for her forever! Dogs with heartworm go on to live long, healthy lives after treatment.
