Weighing in at 55 lbs, this girl is the perfect blend of beauty, brains, and sweetness. June is a gentle soul who thrives on love and companionship. She adores being around people and would make a fantastic adventure buddy or a snuggly best friend—whatever your day calls for! Whether it's long walks, playtime in the yard, or curling up on the couch for a nap, June is happy just being by your side. She has been treated for heartworm and is now free of those pests! Age: 2 years old Weight: 55 lbs Breed: Catahoula Mix Personality: Affectionate, playful, and loyal Ideal Home: A loving family or individual ready to give her all the love she deserves Adoption Fee: $400 (Partially Sponsored!) Pet Insurance Required: We require pet insurance with every adoption to ensure our pups receive the best care possible. Important Information for Adopters All of our dogs are up-to-date on vaccines and altered, unless there are extenuating circumstances which we will make certain that you are aware of. Paws From Afar believes that all dogs should have adventures as often as possible! They need a change of scenery, smellery, new paths to explore, or oceans to swim in. Pet insurance is required prior to pickup. Please make sure you calculate this into your monthly expenses. We recommend Trupanion for its:1 Coverage for all new injuries and illnesses2 Direct payment to the hospital or facility3 Unlimited payout for the lifetime of your pet If the pup is still listed, they are still available. We bring our dogs up from the South, and if you require a meet and greet, we are not the right rescue for you. However, we are happy to connect you with the pup’s foster prior to adoption. To submit your adoption application, please visit: www.pawsfromafar.org/adoptables Please refrain from sending "I'm interested" messages. If the dog is still listed, we will reach out if we decide to move forward with your application. Thank you for your understanding! We look forward to seeing your applications and helping June find her forever home!   ##2308270##

Story
Meet Butler! Butler is a high-energy, big-personality dog looking for the right fit in a committed, experienced home. He's a playful, goofy companion who enjoys structured training and has shown he can socialize with other dogs under supervision. However, Butler will thrive best as the only dog in the home, where he can receive the focused guidance he needs to succeed. In a home setting with his trainer, Butler has made impressive progress living among a pack of dogs. He's e-collar trained, housebroken, crate trained, and has excellent leash skills. His trainer has witnessed firsthand that with structure and leadership, Butler shines and is a joy to be around. Butler is a fantastic candidate for a strong and experienced handler familiar with powerful breeds. He would make a wonderful adventure buddy and is highly trainable, but he does need clear boundaries and consistent guidance. His trainer can discuss Butler's behavioral needs in detail with any interested adopters and will provide follow-ups to help ensure his continued success. A stable, structured start will be key to Butler's happy transition into his new home. If you're ready for a devoted, high-energy companion and have the experience to guide him, Butler may be the perfect match! For more information or to book a call with Butler's trainer and foster, Emilie Swett, please contact Pet Rendezvous at 603-447-3435.
