Story
We rescued Elmo as a puppy in the summer of 2022. He is a great dog. We have two young children and he is gentle and patient with them. Elmo has been boarded for a few nights at a time and spent a lot of time with other dogs with no issues, he loves to play. A good adoption match would be someone that can dedicate a lot of time to spend with Elmo, time running, chasing the ball and hiking. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, we are no longer able to dedicate enough time and we would like to see Elmo have the life and experiences he deserves.

Story
We believe he could be a pure bred Catahoula Leopard Dog! And words used to describe the breed describe sweet Ric perfectly: inquisitive, intelligent, energetic, gentle, independent and LOVING. Check out his video on our FACEBOOK Page: https://www.facebook.com/reel/3348615708776147 Ric is highly food motivated and is willing to learn anything quickly for a treat! He’s good on a leash, and due to his hound nature would do best with a fenced in yard— he can be a wanderer. He surprisingly passed our cat test with flying colors! He was so gentle and even submissive to the grown cat and 5 kittens we have. Though he is extremely gentle, he could use some manners! He may be prone to counter surfing if he ever got the opportunity, but with work he’d make an amazing house dog! He’s great with every person he meets, and every dog so far. Since he’s a hound, he may would chase pocket pets, as it’s his nature. Ric would make a great running partner, couch potato, or anything as long as he gets love!

Story
Meet Butler! Butler is a high-energy, big-personality dog looking for the right fit in a committed, experienced home. He's a playful, goofy companion who enjoys structured training and has shown he can socialize with other dogs under supervision. However, Butler will thrive best as the only dog in the home, where he can receive the focused guidance he needs to succeed. In a home setting with his trainer, Butler has made impressive progress living among a pack of dogs. He's e-collar trained, housebroken, crate trained, and has excellent leash skills. His trainer has witnessed firsthand that with structure and leadership, Butler shines and is a joy to be around. Butler is a fantastic candidate for a strong and experienced handler familiar with powerful breeds. He would make a wonderful adventure buddy and is highly trainable, but he does need clear boundaries and consistent guidance. His trainer can discuss Butler's behavioral needs in detail with any interested adopters and will provide follow-ups to help ensure his continued success. A stable, structured start will be key to Butler's happy transition into his new home. If you're ready for a devoted, high-energy companion and have the experience to guide him, Butler may be the perfect match! For more information or to book a call with Butler's trainer and foster, Emilie Swett, please contact Pet Rendezvous at 603-447-3435.
