Meet this handsome fella, Nash. He has unique markings with blue eyes. He's a confident fella and may need gentle introduction to strangers. Once the ice is broken he is all yours with his friendly eager attitude. He is an athletic type with good energy and can jump with excitement when he wants. He knows how to sit and shake hands. He is neutered and vaccinated. He is approaching 3 yrs old and his weight is around 55-60 lbs. He was inside kept with his previous owner and is housebroken. Young children are not recommended due to his eagerness and initial guard toward strangers. He is good with other dogs and a generally happy happy dog! He also loves to go on car rides. We are a rural shelter with high intakes. As a result, the shelter dogs are not guaranteed safety. We do our best but, we need help. ADOPTION FEES APPLY- Dogs $150 - $175 Cats $90 (We are not set up for credit or debit payments.) Applications are required and can be requested by emailing fopcpky@gmail.com or the foster contact listed if in foster care. Your calls are VERY IMPORTANT to us! The shelter is open Monday thru Friday from 9 - 3 p.m. except Thursdays (closed). Saturday hours are by appt. Meet DODGER!! World Series CHAMPION! He and his siblings came to us from southeastern KY and are ready for their forever homes. He is a deep brindle color and is a funny little guy! We don't know much about their parents so your guess is as good as ours with what breed they are (although if we had to guess, our guess would be Catahoula leopard dog, boxer, hound). We expect him to be a medium size at full maturity! Philly will make an amazing addition to any family!
