Story
Hi there! I'm Charlie Boy, a puppy full of energy and life! I love to jump, play, and make everyone laugh with my funny antics. I'm not just all fun and games though, I'm also quite smart. I've learned a lot of tricks and commands already, and I'm eager to learn more. I promise to keep you entertained and on your toes with my high energy. But don't worry, I also love a good snuggle after a day full of play. I'm looking for a forever home with someone who loves to laugh and play as much as I do. Adopt me, and let's make beautiful memories together! I am 76LBS at 10 months old, so i am going to be a BIG BOY when i am fully grown. My energy may be a bit much for smaller kids, so please bring the whole family in to meet me before taking me home.Active people need active pets (and vice versa)! If you have a physically active lifestyle, I am the perfect dog for you. I have loads of energy and am looking for a family that can use that energy in positive ways. I'll do best in a home that has plenty of room and a fenced yard. Daily exercise and obedience training will help make me a happy, well-mannered dog. Please take me to the park, on hikes, and on morning jogs with you! Ask an Adoption Counselor at Helping Hands for more information about me. Primary Color: Tan /black Weight: 76 Age: 0yrs 11mths 0wks

Story
Remus was adopted from an animal shelter and he is now between 10 and 12 months old. He is an energetic, loving, playful, and intelligent dog. He loves other dogs and cats, but he has a high prey drive towards smaller animals. Ideally he will go to a home with space for him to run and another dog to play with or someone who can keep up with his energy needs. This sweet boy deserves the world and our household is unable to give him what he needs to thrive.

Story
Laverne really has a lot going for her, not only is she absolutely stunning, she's also smart as a whip! This gorgeous girl would be the perfect companion for just about everyone. Laverne lived in a foster home with other dogs as well as kids. She's also involved in plenty of playgroups here at the shelter, so she's as sociable as she is sweet! This lovely girl has a chronic case of wiggle butt, and has never met a stranger! Once she gets her first burst of energy out, her favorite thing to do is beg for belly rubs. With her can-do attitude and her love for cuddles, Laverne would be the perfect pet for someone who wants a happy go lucky dog! All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, Heartworm tested (6 months and above,) and current on vaccinations and preventions prior to adoption. At the time of adoption all dogs are signed up with a unique Safe Paws QR pet ID tag, the adopter is required to maintain a monthly membership of $2.99/month for (at minimum) the first year. This helps insure your new furry family member makes his way back to you if lost. Leashes and collars are also required at the time of adoption. You are welcome to bring your own, or we have plenty to choose from at the shelter as well. If the pet you fall in love with is not quite ready for adoption, we do offer a $50 hold deposit that will insure you have first "dibs on adoption. Once an animal is available for adoption, we are not able to hold them, as there are so many animals waiting to come into our program. Our shelter is located at 10312 East 63rd Street in Raytown, MO. We are open to meet pets Tuesday through Friday from 10-6, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10-5. We are closed on Mondays. You are welcome to fill out our quick 10 question adoption survey to facilitate a quicker process. This will also start the meeting process for those animals in foster care: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MARQ/Dog
