The name is Samson, aka Samsonite :) I am a GORGEOUS Catahoula mixed boy, a mere 33#, I will likely be 45-50# full grown. And my markings?? DUDE! They are off the CHAIN!! Pretty pretty pretty. I can match just about EVERY outfit you wear :) Camouflage- YUP, White-YUP, Gray- YUP, Black- YUP!! I will actually make you look thinner too- how?? I will keep you active too, walking/playing and cuddling all are calorie burning activities! I am a smart and sweet boy with a fun and playful heart. I would do best with another active dog and I even are pretty good with kitties- I just need to know that they will cuddle with me too :) I am learning how to be a fun puppy, my "previous family" surrendered me to the rescue because I was too much puppy for their older dog. Which is fine, except they locked me in a crate away from them all the time and I developed a nervous feeling in a crate. So my foster mom hardly crates me at all, and I am almost fully housetrained- I am learning how to use the bell to let people know when I have to go outside, I am smart so you know that will be done pretty quickly ;) I also have started displaying some extra sensitivity to my foster mom, if she has a migraine I have started hanging out close to her and comforting her when she is so sick. I am so so ready to find my furever home, someone who appreciates my size and fun/active personality!! Hope that is you! This boy has two speeds... sleep and GO GO GO :) He is an energetic pup and he is a puppy and would be a great great family dog with several kids who will play with him for hours... and hours... and he will wear THEM out too :) Kids need to be older just because he is a BIG boy and plays HARD. Emerald is very smart and know quiet a few commands. She enjoys car rides, playing fetch and ball, walks and chew toys. Because of Emerald`s past issues, she is dog selective and cautious with other dogs. If you currently have a dog in the home, a meet and greet will be required. We are sisters two, maybe not in the category of "superstar" on stage and screen.... but what WE did is much much more important! (ok not US per se.... but our namesakes!) We are named after Polish sisters, Stefania and Helena Podgorska, who dared to save Jewish LIVES during Hitler's reign.... 13 LIVES to be exact! So, here is what my rescuer and my foster mom have to say about me, "Stefania was the runt of this litter, and she has the biggest personality :) Stefania wants a nice family to love her furever! She and her siblings were left behind a post office in very very poor shape, at 3 weeks old :( They also survived parvo two months later..... Helena was the second smallest pup and just a cuddle bug has the most beautiful eyes. She wants nothing more than to be your loving family member. Either girl will be the ultimate friend for a youngster or another fun dog. Stefania and Helena are hero pups in their own right, hopefully one of them will be your next bestest friend!!"
