Toffee is available for adoption in Texas only. Meet Toffee, a 6-month-old Catahoula mix with the sweetest personality! While he's cautious due to his limited hearing (he can hear high-pitched sounds or whistles), it doesn't stop him from enjoying life. Toffee loves playing with other dogs, has zero interest in squirrels, and is incredibly gentle with a super soft mouth. He doesn't jump up on people, crates easily, and is almost fully potty trained. Toffee's sweet nature and calm demeanor make him a wonderful companion. He's ready to find a loving forever home! Could Toffee be the sweet addition to your family? Story
Heath is available for adoption in TX, PNW, and NE (excluding MA & NH) Meet Heath, a 8-month-old Catahoula mix with energy and personality to spare! He's a playful, silly boy who loves to be the first to jump into playtime and equally enjoys crashing for a good nap afterward. Heath was a breeze to potty train and actually enjoys his crate time, especially with a chew toy to keep him company. His favorite things include belly rubs and basking in the sun-though he doesn't mind a little fun if you interrupt him for a quick photo op! Heath is ready to bring joy and laughter to his forever home. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Milo’s journey will break your heart. It hasn’t been an easy one, but he’s a true fighter with a spirit that will give you faith in humanity. Found emaciated and suffering, Milo has shown nothing but resilience and bravery as he recovers and learns to trust again. He may have had a rough start, but he’s all about making up for lost time with his goofy, playful nature! Now that he’s on the mend, Milo is showing his true colors: he’s sweet, dog-friendly, and loves to bring joy to everyone around him. His goofy antics and joyful energy will have you laughing in no time, and his affectionate side will make you want to shower him with love. Milo loves to bee bop around the yard with his doggy foster siblings, and is always eager to check in on his person with a big smile on his face. He loves the older kid in his foster home also. Milo is crate trained. When he was emaciated, he weighted 64 lbs, so he is going to be a big boy as he continues to gain weight! Milo is going through heartworm treatment. It's an overall easy process that includes taking it easy and a few vet visits. His treatment is covered by the rescue at our vet in Meridian. He is available within an hour of Boise. Milo has had top notch care from his rescuers since the day he was rescued from the streets, we are excited to continue showing him the kinder side of life. Neuter, microchip, current vaccines, and heartworm treatment are all included in his adoption fee. Please start with the adoption application: freedomboundhounds.com/adopt

Story
Meet Buddy – A Gentle Soul Looking for His Perfect Match! Buddy is a senior Ridgeback/Black Mouth Cur mix with a heart full of love and a personality that shines once he feels safe. He may be shy at first and take some time to decompress, but once he’s comfortable, his sweet and gentle nature comes through. Buddy absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys their company. He is both house-trained and crate-trained—in fact, his crate is his happy place! When left alone, he prefers the security of his kennel, and even when his humans are home, he often chooses to relax there with the door open. This lovable senior does well on a leash and would thrive in a quiet, low-energy home with a patient adopter who understands that he needs time to adjust. While he hasn't been around young children, his gentle nature suggests he would be great with them. We don’t know how he is with cats, but he gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Buddy’s favorite toys are anything soft and squishy, and he enjoys the simple comforts of companionship. He would be the perfect match for someone looking for a loving, loyal companion who doesn’t need a high-energy lifestyle. With patience and understanding, Buddy has so much love and potential to share. Are you the kind soul ready to give Buddy the forever home he deserves?
