Story
Meet Noah! Noah is a strikingly handsome Catahoula mix (we think) who had the extreme misfortune of being a stray pup in a rural Georgia county with a very high euthanasia rate. With such a small facility, this county is only able to hold strays for about 3 days before they are euthanized for space  Noah is about 6 months old and has the most gorgeous blue eyes. We really have no way of knowing his breed mix but we are guessing possibly a Catahoula/Husky mix. This sweet playful guy absolutely loves going out for a game of chase or wrestling with his friends and then settling in for a nap.   Interested in adopting? Email adrienne@rescuemega.org or fill out an adoption application on our website- www.rmgdogs.org PLEASE NOTE: RMG requires an adult dog in the home for ALL puppy adoptions. This is a strict requirement  ##2151817##

Walking with confidence is King Jimbo, who reigns and protects his home. His home is his palace, where he will bark but not bite. As a king, he loves to sit high and have his hind end scratched. His majesty will not swallow any unknown objects and will leave it for you to pick up. He is not only royal but loyal. His love is genuine, and he will melt your heart. What King isn't a ladies' man? King Jimbo loves the ladies and will win their hearts! Overall Jimbo needs a home that will have the time and patience to love him. If Jim seems like the perfect boy to take a chance on, please apply on the MACS website!November 3, 2024, 12:44 am

Story
Marie is a real go-getter.  She loves an active life, she loves the water and would like a family who can help her get out her energy and share her zest for life.   She is a little cautious with new people but warms up quickly.  No litle kids for her because she is bigger and high energy.  Bigger kids are okay. She does need to be an only pet. Age: 2 years  Weight: approx 60 lbs   Vetting: Up-to-date on vaccines, spayed, and heartworm negative   Temperament: not good with other dogs or cats, initially cautious with new people, best with older kids.  Training: House trained, crate trained, some well trained.  Contact email:  Sheltersxshelvesrescue@gmail.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded, and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself October 30, 2024, 7:29 am

Story
Ahoy there! SeaBiscuit here, looking to sail away to a good home! Landlubbers say I have gorgeous coloring and am rather unique looking (I would say aye to that.) I narrowly escaped being euthanized for space at an overcrowded shelter but a kind family saw my photo and decided to foster me. Talk about lucky!! Here are a few things to know about me. I am an energetic mate but settle down quickly. My fosters say I just melt into them and can’t get enough cuddling and snuggling. I am good with their teenage daughter and love her so much. I am friendly, playful, fun, know sit, give kisses, affectionate. I am house trained and crate trained. I know sit, lay down commands and I am working on touch, focus, turn, and stay commands. What else do you need to know? I have enjoyed the company of other dogs at the shelter and am trying to make friends with the dog in my foster home, except he’s taking his time to get to know me. I was going to put this message in a bottle but people tell me the internet is faster. So, please consider me, SeaBiscuit and allow me to sail into your home and heart! Check out my YouTube Video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/cv12D8OLm5s Age: 2.9 years Weight: 62 lbs Vetting: Up-to-date on vaccines, neutered and heartworm  negative and on prevention Temperament: Good with other dogs.  Good with older, respectful kids.   Training, House trained, crate trained, knows several commands  Email for questions: sonaligokhale@yahoo.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. October 30, 2024, 7:29 am

Story
Meet Darcy! /(^.^)\ Hello there, my name is Darcy and I am an adorable brown and white Rhodesian Ridgeback Mix. I am about 1.5 years old and weigh about 40 pounds. I am very active and a sweet ball of energy! I am highly food motivated and love treat time! I am still learning basic manners and learning to walk better on a leash - I get better at it every day! I get along wonderfully with other dogs, making me a great addition to a multi-pet household. Currently, I am available for adoption. If you're interested in Darcy, please fill out an online application or call the Humane Society at 770-887-6480. Our adoption hours are Tuesday through Thursday 11-5 and Friday and Saturday 1-5. All of my love and sweetness, Darcy /(^.^)\
