Story
Rowdy is a wonderful, loving, young Catahoula about 10 months old. We adopted him from the shelter this past April, and he has been a joy. He's lively, active, athletic, and very affectionate. Unfortunately, our older dog has grown increasingly aggressive toward Rowdy and attacks him regularly - thus the reason we would like to rehome him. Rowdy loves toys and never meets a stranger. He's a very handsome guy -- tri-colored with one blue eye and one blue/brown eye. He's great with kids so far, but at ~70 pounds, he may be a bit much for small ones/toddlers. He also gets along well with other dogs that he's met (he even tries so hard to be our older dog's friend despite his aggression). With Rowdy you get a loyal friend who is up-to-date on his shots, neutered, house/crate trained and well-cared for. We have his X-large crate that will come with him as well. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to arrange a meet and greet.

Story
Dakota is a young adult probably 3 years old. He weighs about 65 lb. When he arrived he was heartworm positive. He has completed treatment as is doing great. Dakota is friendly but can be distrustful of strangers at first. He walks well on leash and will sit when asked. He can pull a bit. I use a training collar on him. He is well mannered. He will jump up but I've not had him put his feet on me. He loves attention and enjoys going for hikes with me. He would become a devoted, protective companion. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested negative (on monthly heartworm and flea preventive) and are microchipped. Upon adoption, the microchip will be registered with your contact information and you will be eligible to activate a free 30 day health insurance policy. If you are interested in Dakota, please contact Gail Posey at 678-361-7304 or email pspp_inc@yahoo.com.

Story
Levi is a LARGE boy for his breed. He is sweet as pie, but due to his size he is misunderstood. He would do best in a single dog home and one with only adults. He needs a strong handler and one that is willing to work with him. Levi will do best with a large enclosed fence, or even better yet a large pasture/farmland to run on. Levi is just a big goof ball at heart!

Snuggle. Bunny. Yes, we know Luna is in fact a dog, but we just consider that a bonus! You won't need to file her teeth and good-mannered Luna is much less likely to chew your electrical cords (tho she can hop a fence).  She is much easier to take on walks, tho she thinks cardio is over-rated. This low-key girl much prefers your lap. Thoughtful to a fault, she knows there is no room in that lap for other critters, so asks to be your only snuggle bunny. ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB: Mar 2018~  Intake weight:  49#  ~  Adoption details: calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 1, 2024, 11:11 pm

Story
Gorgeous, freckly Daphne really speaks to you through her pretty dichromatic eyes. What is she saying? Let's play! She likes toys but loves squeaky balls the best of all. She's a springy girl who can clear a shorter fence, so the tall and solid variety is best. Oh, and Daphne has a superpower - she can adapt her play to match pretty much any dog! So bring your pup for a meet-n-greet. ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~ Est DOB: Mar 2023~ Intake weight: 56# ~ Adoption details: calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 1, 2024, 11:11 pm
