Story
Winter is a spunky little snowflake with a heart as warm as a crackling fireplace. She loves chasing toys like they’re falling snowballs and playing right by your side. When it’s time for affection, Winter happily plants herself in front of you—front and center—so she doesn’t miss a single cuddle. Even when she “rough plays,” she’s as gentle as fresh snow. Rescued alongside her brother, Storm, Winter proves that even after the coldest beginnings, the sweetest love can still bloom.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 8, 2026, 7:37 pm

Story
“My name is Mavis, If you’re looking for a playful and loving dog, I’m your girl. I take baths and love playing in water when it’s nice out. I’d love to play with kids and other dogs but forgive me if I get excited and jump around. I love to learn and am kennel trained. I still potty on puppy pads but if you have a fenced yard, you don’t have to worry about stepping on any stink bombs cause I go around the perimeter. I need a new home soon and love to love!”

Story
Dakota is a young adult probably 3 years old. He weighs about 65 lb. When he arrived he was heartworm positive. He has completed treatment as is doing great. Dakota is friendly but can be distrustful of strangers at first. He walks well on leash and will sit when asked. He can pull a bit. I use a training collar on him. He is well mannered. He will jump up but I've not had him put his feet on me. He loves attention and enjoys going for hikes with me. He would become a devoted, protective companion. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested negative (on monthly heartworm and flea preventive) and are microchipped. Upon adoption, the microchip will be registered with your contact information and you will be eligible to activate a free 30 day health insurance policy. If you are interested in Dakota, please contact Gail Posey at 678-361-7304 or email pspp_inc@yahoo.com.

Story
AN ACTIVE & FUN PUP:  Approx. 8-9 months old / Approx. 26 lbs. & growing Hello – I’m Casanova!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I am so happy to be on the journey to my new home with their help.  I recently spent time in a great temporary foster home, where I got a glimpse of the great life that awaits me in a home of my very own.  Plan to come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member!  I’m currently in the prison/foster training program off-site and learning a lot!  Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to find out when I'm available to meet. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, however, I am a food guarder and should be fed separately.  The amazing trainers in the prison/foster training program have helped me with my guarding, and I’ve made great progress.  I can now share toys and take treats next to another dog.  My MM trainer would be happy to show you this and I hope to continue improving.  If you have a friendly dog who would enjoy a young companion and if you are comfortable keeping food separate and following the protocols that MM has established for me, let’s meet! / Cats unknown but remember we must eat and snack separately. / I haven’t met kids yet, so if you have kids that are old enough to understand my food guarding, let’s meet.  I am thinking teens and up would be best.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am a very active and friendly guy who wiggled and wagged my whole body when I saw my foster – adorable!  I’m not shy about registering my opinion about things that bother me and I did find my voice in my temp. foster home, so best no apartment/condo type home.  I’m a young dog so I am still exploring the world and using my mouth, though I do respond to correction.  Fun and playful, I will bring lots of love and adventure to my new home. / My energy level is 7-9 and I will need my furever family to understand my breed as I’m a working breed dog well as my need for regular exercise. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program so I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands.  I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping.  Let's continue my training as there are more classes I can take through the free lifetime training that Mostly Mutts offers for their rescue dogs.  Still playfully mouthy, I do love to nibble on pants, ankles and shoes.  Luckily, this is very easily corrected now that my trainer has taught me the ‘leave it’ command.  I’m also working with my trainer on using a gentle leader on my walks so just ask about this.  Let's continue my training as there are more classes I can take through the free lifetime training that Mostly Mutts offers for their rescue dogs.  / My crate manners were good in my foster home. / My potty habits have been good on the prison/foster training program’s schedule. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love large rope toys. They are great for tug-o-war and for burning up energy.  Once I am all tuckered out, I love a comfy dog bed for recharging my batteries.  I would like a dog savvy owner who understands my working breed and is ready to get some regular exercise together!  I’m sure we’ll discover lots of other things we will enjoy doing together. / I was afraid of my reflection in the mirror or in windows, but my foster showed me it was all good.  Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on my immunizations, micro-chipped and neutered.   If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.    March 27, 2026, 6:51 am

Story
Meet Bronco! Bronco is an amazing pup, estimated to be between 1–2 years old, and he’s still very much in that playful puppy phase. Curious about everything, he loves exploring the world around him and discovering new sights, smells, and adventures. Bronco gets along wonderfully with other dogs and currently has three foster siblings he enjoys playing and lounging with throughout the day. He is also potty trained, and he is currently working on becoming fully kennel trained. This sweet boy is quite the talker—Bronco loves to express himself with silly grumbles, playful barks, and funny little sounds, especially when he’s excited or vying for attention. He has a big personality and an even bigger heart. While he can be a bit skittish at first and sometimes thinks he’s in trouble when you approach, he is quickly learning that people can be kind and gentle. Each day, he grows more confident, more trusting, and more affectionate. In the evenings, Bronco enjoys curling up on a cozy dog bed, and he’ll occasionally trot over to give you a soft “boop” as his sweet way of asking for pets. He also has great protective instincts—if he hears a strange noise outside, he’ll be the first to investigate and alert his people. Bronco is well on his way to becoming a loyal, loving, and devoted companion. With continued patience, reassurance, and love, he will blossom into the incredible dog he is meant to be. He’s ready to find a forever family to adore and protect. Bronco is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX but can be transported to the PNW and NE United States after adoption.
