Story
Bindi is a uniquely beautiful 6 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog. She is housebroken, has a mellow energy level and is calm and well behaved in the home - she is already trustworthy in the house and does not need a crate or kennel. While she does well meeting new people outside of the home, she is protective over her home and belongings when guests come into her home. The rescue will provide new training for an adopter at no cost to help her start off on the right foot at learning to allow guests to come into the home successfully, but she will need an experienced, committed adopter ready to work with her. She would do best with an experienced, patient adopter and a quiet household without a lot of people coming and going. Bindi is part of our rehoming program and her current family is rehoming her because she does not get along well with the other dog in her home. Bindi is not reactive when meeting new dogs out in public or on walks but again struggles with sharing her space and belongings with them. She would do best as the only dog in the home. We are recommending a home without small children for Bindi, older kids would be okay.  Adoption fee $150, Bindi is spayed and current on vaccines. Located in Orlando, FL. ##2008383##

Story
Theo is about 20 month old catahoula hound mix. He is very active, protective, loud yet sweet and cudly. He is up to dates on shots, crate trained and knows basic commands Theo is good with most dogs, however he is the alpha dog, therefore wants to be in charge. He would do well with submissive dogs not another alpha dogs. He has very loud bark which may scare people. Walking on a leash is tricky as he is strong and pulls. It is our fault because of lack of training. He is good with older kids. He would be a perfect fit for a single person or a couple that is active and can spend lot of time teaching him obedience, training him and give him plenty of exercise so he doesn't get bored. He is food motivated which may help with training.

Story
Theo is 20 month old catahoula hound mix. He is about 75 lbs. He is up to dates on his shots, house and crate trained. He is very active, energetic, sweet and cudly, yet the boss of our house (due to our lack of training). He needs fenced in yard for exercise. He loves to snuggle with you on the couch and thinks he is only 10 lbs. He enjoys his quiet time in a crate too. He is an alpha dog who gets along mostly with another dogs as long as they are submissive. He is good with children, but older children would be better as he is a strong boy and could knock them down. Leash walking is a bit of a challenge. He wants to pull, track other animal scents and gets easily distracted. Theo would be a great fit for a single person or a couple that are active and would dedicate their time to training him, teaching him manners and obedience. He would be a great watch dog and would make someone very happy if given time to train and to love. He needs his alpha person.

Story
Hi, I'm Ed. My previous owner dropped me off at Powers Drive Animal Hospital and they were kind enough to get me to Second Chance. I am a young, energetic, sweet boy. Did I say energetic? I love to go outside and play, or take walks. If you are looking for the adventurous type for hikes and outdoorsy fun, I'm your guy!  Also, no DNA tests have been done, so no one knows for sure what breed I am. I look like I might have Catahoula Leopard Dog in my mix and probably some bully. This means home ownership to adopt me is required! I have all had all of my shots, and am neutered. Also included in my adoption fee, is a registered microchip and a full set of medical records for you and my future vet! If you are interested in meeting me, please complete an adoption application. Upon pre-approval, someone will reach out to set up a time for a meet and greet. I'm looking forward to meeting you! If you're interested in adopting 2 dogs, my bestest friend, Georgie is also available for adoption at a reduced fee if you take us both! Only applicants who meet the following current requirements will be considered: - Homeownership, no renters - Fenced yard not required, but preferred - Applicant must be 25 years of age or older ##1581433##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.               Precious is a fantastic companion and a loyal dog. She loves to snuggle (and snore!) and when it is a bit colder she loves to snooze with you under a blanket. She is very playful and doing zoomies outside is one of her favorite pastimes. When you come back home she will wag her tail so hard that it almost hits her in her face. She continues to be a calm dog indoors and does perfectly when she is alone.  She is not a barky dog but will alert you by barking once when the doorbell is rung. She learns commands easily; in a matter of days, she learned to sit and stay when we put her food on the ground. We can even walk out of her sight without her running towards her bowl. She loves people but can be a bit nervous/protective when new people or dogs approach her. She usually does warm up to people quickly though. Due to a lack of socialization, she still needs to work on her dog reactiveness. At this time she should be the only dog in the home. Precious requires a home with a fenced in backyard for her to romp and play in. She does not do well with other animals, so she must be the Queen of the house!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 14, 2024, 2:31 pm

Age: 7 months Weight: 37 lbs Breed: Black and Tan Hound Mix Dog Friendly: Yes Cat Friendly: Unk Kid friendly: Has been with 6yrs and up Crate/House Trained: Yes Are you ready to add a sprinkle of joy to your life? Rose loves to romp and play, and she’s just as happy to wind down with a cozy nap and some snuggles. With her moderate energy level, she enjoys about an hour of playtime each day, making her a perfect companion for fun adventures and lazy afternoons. Training & Behavior: Rose is fully house-trained and crate-trained, and she knows the command “sit.” She’s still a puppy at heart, which means she gets a little over-excited at times, but her eagerness to please (especially when treats are involved!) makes her a great candidate for training classes or agility sports! She is well socialized and attended puppy pre-school as a young lass. Social Butterfly: Rose is a social girl who gets along beautifully with kids and other dogs. She might be a tad vocal when meeting new furry friends, but it’s all in good spirit! She seems to thrive with male dogs, so if you have a boy pup, they might just become the best of buddies! Ideal Home: Rose is looking for a loving family who can offer her daily playtime followed by cozy cuddle sessions.
