Story
Hello! My name is Chrissy and I found myself here at the shelter with my 2 siblings, Jack and Janet, after our owner passed away unexpectedly. Unfortunately I did test positive for Heartworm so I would need a quiet home while I go through my treatment. I am very shy at first but once I warm up to you I am a huge cuddle bug. I love laying on my bed playing with my toys. I also love having play time with my doggy friends and a big plus is I don't mind cats at all.

Story
NOLA is a beautiful Catahoula mix, full of personality and love, looking for a new home. She's a good girl with a heart of gold, but we can no longer care for her due to our young toddler daughter. We have tried for over a year to integrate them together, but to no avail. This rehoming is to provide a better life for Nola and a safer environment for our daughter. NOLA is well-trained and housebroken. She is very intelligent and can be quite playful, especially when it comes to fetch and tug-of-war. She also enjoys long walks and exploring the outdoors. Lizard hunting is her specialty. NOLA would thrive in a stable home with a family or couple that does not have cats (or any small animals) nor young children. Teenagers in the home are fine, as long as they understand her needs and can provide her with gentle care. Don't let her age fool you. She is still very active and a home with a fenced in backyard would be ideal, and she enjoys long walks. Ask for more details, if needed.
