Hi, I'm Ed. I've been at Second Chance for over 2 years now. I am a young, energetic, sweet boy. Did I say energetic? I love to go outside and play, or take walks. If you are looking for the adventurous type for hikes and outdoorsy fun, I'm your guy! I'm a little dog and people selective, I do best with female dogs and will do best with a confident and experienced dog owner. Also, no DNA tests have been done, so no one knows for sure what breed I am. I look like I might have Catahoula Leopard Dog in my mix and probably some bully. This means home ownership to adopt me is required! I have all had all of my shots, and am neutered. Also included in my adoption fee, is a registered microchip and a full set of medical records for you and my future vet! If you are interested in meeting me, please complete an adoption application. Bindi is a uniquely beautiful 6 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog. She is housebroken, has a mellow energy level and is calm and well behaved in the home - she is already trustworthy in the house and does not need a crate or kennel. While she does well meeting new people outside of the home, she is protective over her home and belongings when guests come into her home. The rescue will provide new training for an adopter at no cost to help her start off on the right foot at learning to allow guests to come into the home successfully, but she will need an experienced, committed adopter ready to work with her. She would do best with an experienced, patient adopter and a quiet household without a lot of people coming and going. Bindi is part of our rehoming program and her current family is rehoming her because she does not get along well with the other dog in her home. Bindi is not reactive when meeting new dogs out in public or on walks but again struggles with sharing her space and belongings with them. She would do best as the only dog in the home. We are recommending a home without small children for Bindi, older kids would be okay. Adoption fee $150, Bindi is spayed and current on vaccines. Located in Orlando, FL. ##2008383##

Hello! Doby was a stray that wandered onto my parent's property. He did not have a collar so we decided to post on Ring Neighbors to see if someone was missing their dog. A couple of weeks passed and we were unable to locate his previous owner so my parents started taking care of Doby, hoping to find a permanent solution on rehoming him. We'd really like for someone to adopt Doby to give him a permanent home. My parents are concerned for Doby's wellbeing staying on their property. They have made many attempts to fence off parts of their property so Doby is not hurt by the wildlife and vegetation but they have seen him make his way past it and into heavily wooded areas. They noticed he had skin irritations and treated it with sprays. Due to this and the financial responsibilities of his care, my parents cannot keep him. They have never experienced behavioral issues with Doby, he is overall a loving, sweet and playful dog. He loves to play fetch and is very affectionate.
