Warrior was extremely emaciated when he came to us and in need of a lot of gentle, loving care and food. He doesn't always photograph well because he’s full of wiggles and joy but he’s doing well. He’s gained some weight but still has a ways to go! He was rather dog selective when he was emaciated, but as he gets healthier you can tell he feels better too, because he's so happy-go-lucky now and much more playful with most dogs. Warrior absolutely LOVES people and will wiggle his body so hard when he meets a new one. He loves attention and pets and will hound howl to get your attention if he feels he's not getting the appropriate amount of loving. Warrior is doing well with house training and has not had any accidents in several weeks! He's not the sharpest tool in the shed though so he will definitely need some positive encouragement to learn your routine in a new home. He is however, eager to please and will surely pick it up in no time. More advanced requests though, might take a bit more patience! Warrior is microchipped, vaccinated, heart worm tested negative, and neutered. He has also been dewormed and is current on monthly prevention.

Maizie is not only a loving companion, always ready for cuddles and snuggles, but she's also knows multiple commands including sit, stay, shake, place, leave it, and get it. She is house-trained and eager to please. She loves spending time with her humans, whether it's lounging on the couch or enjoying a long walk. Maizie has had a dog sibling the last two years, but now as she has matured, Maizie needs to be the only dog in her home. She is still dog friendly while on walks or in public. She has a heart as big as her love for belly rubs and will follow you around the house just to be near you. Her desire to be close makes her the ideal companion for anyone looking for a loyal, well-behaved, and cuddly best friend. Maizie has never been around cats, is scared of water, but loves car rides!! She is not afraid of thunder or fireworks and will actually sit by the window to watch fireworks She also loves to sunbathe outside in the grass so a fenced in yard would be preferred.
