Story
Luna is a super sweet Catahoula Leopard dog mixed with Aussie. She would love to find a forever home with a fenced yard, and another active, energetic dog to play with. Luna is a special needs dog because she needs help emptying her bladder. When she was just a young pup she and another dog got loose and went into a neighbor's yard where they were shot. The dog she was with was killed and she was shot in the back as she was running away. Thankfully she survived and is now recovered and can walk fine but she doesn't have any feeling back there, so she needs to wear diapers indoors, and she needs help expressing her bladder. We know that involves extra work, but it's not very difficult at all. We amputated her tail to make cleaning her easier. We're hoping you will open your heart to this super sweet, gorgeous, very special girl. If you are interested in learning more about this dog, please complete an application by visiting http://www.floridaurgentrescue.com/adopt. Story
Beth is estimated to be 3-4-year-old Catahoula mix with a heart as big as her love for walks and car rides, or simply just hanging out. She’s not just well-behaved—she’s exceptional. House-trained and respectful, Beth doesn’t need a kennel and walks beautifully on a leash, always matching your pace. She’s considerate, waiting patiently before going down the stairs until you’re ready to head down/up the stairs. Beth has shown no interest in the resident cat and has done well with the dogs she’s met, especially those who are calm and non-dominant her size or smaller. Beth has lived with a miniature schnauzer and a cat. They all lived in an RV together. Her teeth are in great shape, suggesting she’s still young, yet she has the demeanor of a well-trained mature dog. Beth is an absolute joy to be around and would make a fantastic companion for someone who can appreciate her gentle/chill nature and loving personality. Beth truly deserves a wonderful family who will cherish her as much as she’ll cherish them. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and well-mannered companion, Beth is the one for you! Email us at: adoptions@tlovrescue.org Apply to set up a meet and greet: http://tlovrescue.org/adoption-applications/ Thank you for your interest in Beth and we look forward to hearing from you soon!

Story
Cane is a smart and sweet little puppy. He loves cuddles, walks, playing outside, and chewing on little bones. He has been so great with our daughters. He knows to potty outside, but as a puppy, still has some accidents if left unattended. We have had him and his sister since they were 8 weeks. Unfortunately, we are having issues with our landlord and unable to keep them. We would love to keep them together, but completely understand taking on two pups is a lot. We would be willing to give Lola to whoever takes Cane, free of charge. As long as they can stay together and will be well taken care of. They have a great bond and love playing together. We have had them both around other dogs, children, and adults. They have had no issues. We just want them both to go to a loving home that has time to take them on walks, play, and watch them grow! We have two packages of puppy pads and a large bag of dog food to get you started as well.

Story
Meet Oswald, a gentle giant with a heart as big as his frame. This lovable fellow is believed to be a fun blend of Rhodesian Ridgeback and Great Dane, though it is his Ridgeback side that shines through most prominently. His coat boasts a striking red sable coloring, a rich blend of reddish- brown with distinctive black-tipped fur and a stunning face mask. Although he is a larger dog, Oswald exudes a certain grace that is a joy to watch. His eyes, large and inquisitive, reflect the kindness and intelligence that radiates from within. Oswald's affectionate nature is undeniable; he's quick to offer love and companionship to anyone and everyone he meets. While Oswald's size and exuberance may require a bit of understanding, especially with smaller children, his amiable nature makes him a wonderful companion for families with prior experience handling larger breeds. This delightful pup enjoys the companionship of other dogs, once they have been properly introduced. He has had some struggles with dog reactivity, but is doing great with training, and will only continue to improve with a consistent, patient, and strong owner. He has not spent much time inside around cats, but is comfortable seeing and walking near them while on outside. When it comes to care, Oswald is fine with a quiet day inside, but also loves to get out, whether it’s the beach or a local walking trail. On walks, he's a model of composure, walking wonderfully on leash and very responsive to corrections. In essence, Oswald is an absolute sweetheart just looking for his forever people.
