CORB Kona is a 2 year old spayed female Catahoula Mix. She was surrendered by her owner to find a better home. Kona is sweet, loves going for walks, and is great with kids, making her a perfect family companion. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood. Bonded brother and sister....so sweet and so loving! Meet Freckles, an absolutely stunning 6 month old, male, Catahoula Leopard/Aussie Shepherd mix that is about 33lbs. Freckles and his sister Luna were being given away for free as young puppies in front of a Walmart. Thankfully, a kind woman took them home knowing that they could have ended up in the wrong hands. She reached out to us to see if we could take them into our rescue and we said yes! Freckles and Luna are so bonded that they get sad when they are apart from each other. These two are absolute perfection together and will settle into a new home much easier than if they were separated. Freckles is a confident, sweet, and very loving dog! She is smart and learns commands quickly. We are looking for a home for the two siblings that has owners that are not gone long hours during the day and will walk them daily so they get the exercise and stimulation they need. A home with a safe and secure yard would be perfect for them to run and play in. If you are looking for two dogs that get along wonderfully and have the best personalities....than look no further! Odie joined our family of me and 2 other dogs about a year ago, coming from the Riverside animal shelter where he shared a kennel with another dog that wouldn’t let him eat so he’d have to eat outside. From this he’s gotten some resource guarding that’s greatly improved since I got him a year ago but I still have to keep an eye on him and not give him unlimited access to bags of food or high reward treats. He gets along amazingly with my female dog, but does not get along with my other male (mostly because the other male instigates things). They’ve gotten into a small fight before and despite trying to work on it they still don’t get along. He’s very sweet and cuddly and loves human touch. We walk about 2 miles a day and that seems to be enough for him but he can definitely take a more active lifestyle too.

Hula was rescued from the front of a Walmart Store. Fearing she would be used for breeding, I agreed to accept her from a neighbor who witnessed someone trying to give her away. She has since been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is lively, intelligent, active, loving and smart. For additional information call Lydia at 714-357-8405. All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, full sets of core vaccinations (rabies and 1 set of distemper/parvo for adults, 4 for puppies) and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc.
