Story
Louisa is a gorgeous gal who was a great mom to 7 puppies! She is now ready to be the baby! She is dog door trained and loves to flash her doggie smile! Louisa loves to hop around like a bunny and is a very playful girl! She is also the queen of snuggles and would love nothing more than to cuddle up next to you! Louisa is also great with other dogs with a slow introduction! She loves to play and has recently learned that she has a voice and loves to do a tiny little howl and is very vocal when she plays! This girl absolutely loves to be loved on and is just waiting to bring lots of happiness to someone's life! Miss Louisa only has one vice and that is that she is not a friend to the kitties. She has decided that in the heated debate of cats vs dogs, dogs definitely win! Apply to Meet Louisa today!

Story
If you are looking for a cuddle buddy, Atlas is the guy for you. His unique looks and amazingly sweet and inquisitive personality are products of his rich breed mixture. Atlas (also known as "Mr. Steal Your Heart and Pillow") enjoys long walks, short car rides, exploring, cooling off in creeks, lounging around the house, playing tug, unstuffing plush toys, wrestling and playing the bitey face game with his doggy sibling, cuddling in bed, and anything else that allows him to spend time with his family. At almost 3 years old, he has outgrown most undesirable puppy behaviors, but is still an active boy who requires adequate exercise. He does well with children and other dogs. He has done well with cats! He likes to lead walks and can be overly eager to meet new dog friends, so some training in those areas is recommended. He also gets overwhelmed in busy settings and sometimes experiences stranger danger so it is advised to avoid crowded settings unless addressed by a trainer. He is overnight crate trained, but he becomes anxious when left in the crate for extended periods of time during the day so his ideal home would have a pet parent who is home for the greater part of the day. Atlas is learning how to pull carts. He is a very smart dog and seeks to please his owners. Atlas is house/potty trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. If you would like to meet this handsome guy and make him part of your family, please complete an application at https://forrescue.net/dog-application/

Story
🐾 Meet Eden: The Sweetest Catahoula Pup With a Whole Lot of Puppy Left in Her! 🐾 Hey everyone! Let me introduce you to Eden, our 1-year-old Catahoula sweetheart with a heart as big as her playful spirit. Eden was a stray who found her way to us, and she’s now on the lookout for a forever home or rescue to call her own. She’s got all the enthusiasm of a puppy packed into a one-year-old package—think of it as "puppy energy with a year of life experience." Whether she’s trying to chase her own tail or figuring out how to politely ask for belly rubs, Eden’s mission is to spread joy (and maybe a little bit of chaos). We’re working on teaching her some basic manners, but let’s be honest—sometimes she just thinks rules are more like “guidelines” that can be bent in the name of fun. Her idea of “sit” often involves a dramatic flop onto her back, which, admittedly, is pretty adorable. Eden’s ready to bring some serious snuggles and smiles into a lucky home. If you’re looking for a bundle of joy with a side of mischief, Eden is your girl! She’s got love to give and a lot of puppy playfulness to share. Interested in meeting Eden or learning more about how you can help? Shoot us a message or visit our shelter. Eden’s future is bright, and with your help, it could be even brighter!
