Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Our website has information about our rescue, adoption process and link to our adoption application www.collarofhope.org  We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.  Some of our kitties can be seen at our PetSmart partner store in Gig Harbor and it will be noted on their profile if they are at this public location.  Rocky is a gorgeous younger boy looking for a family who will keep him safe inside.  He was found while someone was glamping at a cabin with no other cabins or homes anywhere around.  No owner was found so we're giving him a chance for a forever family.  Due to his occasional play style, it's best if there are older kids or no kids in the family.  He is not aggressive but gets carried away while playing sometimes is all.    Prior to adoption, as a minimum,  our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated age appropriate (will need additional vaccines in some cases), parasite treated/prevented and micro-chipped.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 17, 2025, 2:19 pm

Story
Luna started life in a barn after her parents pulled a classic “drop and dash,” but don’t worry — she’s moved on. This April 2024 baby has decided she’s destined for bigger things (like your couch and your heart). Luna is equal parts snuggle bug and chaos gremlin. She loves attention, zoomies, and making dramatic entrances. Toys don’t stand a chance around her — she’s got Olympic-level paw-eye coordination and takes her playtime seriously. When she’s not showing off her moves, she’ll curl up for snuggles and remind you she’s still the sweetest little barn rescue ever. She’s met dogs of various sizes and mostly gives them the polite “oh, you again?” glance. In other words, she’s too busy being fabulous to start drama. Luna is spayed, litter-box trained, and fully ready to move into her forever home — preferably one with humans who admire her energy, humor, and world-class snuggle skills. If you’re looking for a cat who’s equal parts entertainer and cuddle partner, Luna’s your girl.

Story
Meet Star, the introvert of the cat universe—soft-spoken, mysterious, and a little bit quirky in the best way. She’s the kind of cat who prefers quiet nights and personal space but will happily curl up beside you once she decides you’ve earned her trust. Star doesn’t waste time on drama. She’s not a talker (you won’t hear much meowing), but she’ll let her motor-like purr do the communicating. She’s affectionate on her own terms—think “low-maintenance roommate who actually likes you.” Fun fact: she’s missing her top fangs, giving her a permanently adorable, slightly lopsided smile. Don’t worry, though—she eats dry food like a champ and would probably file a formal complaint if you tried to serve her that “mushy nonsense.” If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion who appreciates both affection and independence, Star might just be your perfect match.

Story
Meet Eclipse, the cat who redefines “chill.” She’s so calm, you could run a vacuum, host a toddler birthday party, and drop a pan all at once—and she’d just blink at you like, “You done?” Eclipse is the feline version of a yoga instructor who’s mastered inner peace. Kids can snuggle, tug, or turn her into the star of their latest doll tea party, and she’ll simply purr and go with the flow. Dogs? Fine. Loud noises? Whatever. World ending? She’d probably just stretch and ask for a snack. She’s endlessly affectionate, ridiculously sweet, and the ideal cat for families who want a gentle, unflappable companion. Basically, if you’re looking for a cat who’s equal parts cuddle bug and zen master, Eclipse is your girl.

Story
DOB: 2/7/2025 Energy: High Best home: Adults or gentle, consistently soft-handed kids; must have a friendly cat (ideally Caramel Swirl, Muffin, or both) Hi, I’m Greyscale – tiny stealth ninja, professional shoulder cat, and full-time “where the people are” enthusiast! I’ve got high energy and zero regrets about it. I love: • Playing for as long as you can go • Sprinting around like a tiny parkour athlete • Jumping, climbing, and zipping through the house - I am a little grey comet! I also take naps, obviously – I’m not a cat-bot – but I like to nap where the people are. Hallway? Couch edge? Spot where hands will naturally pass by? Perfect. I’m pretty clearly hoping for “random drive-by snugs and hugs,” and I usually get them. Affection-wise: • I love shoulder sitting • I’m a solid lap cat who will settle in once I’ve burned off some zoomies • I’m very tuned in to my humans: engaged, responsive, and always kind of checking in, but not obtrusively I currently live with a toddler. I’ll play with him and snuggle when he’s calm… and then I disappear like a puff of smoke when he gets rambunctious. In my ideal home, kids would be old enough to consistently touch softly, even when excited – or it’s an adults-only situation. I’m not fragile, I just have my preferences. I love other cats: • I snuggle them • I groom them • I’m very interested in being part of a little kitty squad My foster would really like to see me adopted: • With Caramel Swirl https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/46570006-bremerton-washington-cat, Muffin https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/46570303-bremerton-washington-cat, or both, or • Into a home that already has a friendly, playful resident cat If you want a cat who’s actually into you – on your lap, on your shoulder, in your business (in a good way – I sit on the arm of a chair, not on a keyboard) – and who also adores other cats, I’m your ninja!
