Story
Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/Application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Felicia is a friendly, dainty girl estimated to be about 1 1/2 years old, who adores people and will happily perch on your lap for endless pets. You can find Felicia on the catio of her room patiently waiting to say hello to socializers and volunteers; she’s always one of the first to get in line for love and attention. Currently Felicia shares a room with 5 other cats. While she tolerates her roommates, we’ve noted that Felicia would probably prefer a home with no other cats - though she is fine with dogs. She tends to give herself some space from the cats in her room and will growl if she feels they are too close, especially if there’s a person nearby and she might miss out on attention. Felicia is loving girl and would fit in fine with just about any family. All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Felicia is a suggested minimum of $40 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!

Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/Application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Introducing the Rainbow Brite litter. This quartet arrived as a Stop the Cycle owner surrendered litter - a few weeks older than our usual litter surrender age, but don't let that stop you from falling in love with these cuties! They are only about 5 months old, so still totally kittens, AND you get the "5 months old" discount adoption fee - WIN WIN! This group includes: RAINBOW BRITE - female DSH tabby, red collar in video SHY VIOLET - female DSH tabby (lighter), no collar in video HAMMY - male DSH tabby, yellow collar in video SPARK - male DSH orange tabby They should do well in pretty much any sort of home and family. We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions. If you prefer to adopt just one, and you don't have a similarly aged kitten at home already, please read our information on Single Kitten Syndrome. Then, when you apply for a single kitten, please let us know in the "Comments" field how you plan to deal with the "kitten crazies." All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee is a suggested minimum of $50 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! Story
Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/Application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Karik, born 8/25/24, arrived as part of a feral colony on which we did Trap-Neuter-Return. Karik made it clear from the start that he did NOT want to go back out into the wild with his colony mates, so he got the SUPER DUPER LIFE UPGRADE into the adoption program! He is a sweet and charming boy who should adapt well to pretty much any home and family. Karik loves to play, and is getting used to the snuggles and kisses that come with being an Adoptable Kitten here at Forget Me Not. We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions. All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Karik is a suggested minimum of $65 (more gratefully accepted). Story
Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/Application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Storm and Fog, brothers born 9/10/24, arrived as part of a feral colony on which we did Trap-Neuter-Return. As you can see, they clearly prefer life indoors with the humans, and are ready to bring their fun-loving purrrsonalities to new homes. These handsome dark grey boys have faint tabby markings, and we expect them to adapt quickly to pretty much any type of home and family. They'd be happy to head home together, but would also do fine separated into homes with another similarly aged kitten playmate. We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions.
