These cats are not very social with people and would prefer a “working cat” life with food and shelter. If you have a barn, shop - or even better a heated space for one or more strong, silent types, please let us know! We will help you set up an acclimation space and provide tips on barn cat care. We currently have males and females available. Don't worry though, I'm feeling much better and I have made it through the worst part of my recovery. I came to Rocket Rescue as a shelter transfer and I was pretty sick with an upper respiratory virus. My foster mom has seen me through the hard times and now I think I'd like to interview potential families. I love other cats, I'm affectionate, silly, playful, and litter box trained. I have a very flat face, which made it hard for me when I got the shelter virus. I would like to be indoors only and I would like lots of toys, TLC, and treats (as you can see, I like my snacks). I'm a mixed breed cat so the hypoallergenic thing isn't me - but if you want a loyal and doting companion - I'm your girl. I was dumped by the side of the highway and I have seen some tough times but I don't hold grudges and I have moved past all the hard stuff. I'm 10 or 11 months old and my coat is plush and smooth. I have the coolest copper eyes - I like to stare at my people so you can't miss them. I would like an indoor only home with lots of toys (I'm just starting to figure out the play thing and it's super fun). I am litter box trained and I should be fine with other pets - although I might be a little scared at first. I'm adventurous and a brave explorer. I like to be held and I will enjoy laps - at least when I get sleepy.
