Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Rocket Rescue has adult cats that are seeking a barn or shop situation. These cats are not very social with people and would prefer a “working cat” life with food and shelter. If you have a barn, shop - or even better a heated space for one or more strong, silent types, please let us know! We will help you set up an acclimation space and provide tips on barn cat care. We currently have males and females available. These cats deserve a safe space with support from caring people.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 6, 2024, 12:49 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Looking for a round, plush, 1.5 year old ball of fluff?  I'm a total cutie, even though my eyes are still looking rough after months of feeling not so great (you can't get away with anything when you're white!). Don't worry though, I'm feeling much better and I have made it through the worst part of my recovery. I came to Rocket Rescue as a shelter transfer and I was pretty sick with an upper respiratory virus. My foster mom has seen me through the hard times and now I think I'd like to interview potential families. I love other cats, I'm affectionate, silly, playful, and litter box trained. I have a very flat face, which made it hard for me when I got the shelter virus. I would like to be indoors only and I would like lots of toys, TLC, and treats (as you can see, I like my snacks). Please apply for me here: https://www.rocketrescue.org/forms/form?formid=5196Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 26, 2025, 5:36 pm

Story
Sinatra is a shy but affectionate cat. His preferences for quiet companionship make him an excellent partner for desk-work, reading, and video games. He responds both to his given name as well as his more often-used nickname "Pud-pud." His anxious nature makes transitions and introductions difficult, but with time he eventually settles once familiarity and trust are established. I have successfully acclimated him to living with another cat, though it took the better part of a year and his initial impression of other cats is fear/hostility. He hasn't spent much time around dogs, though he did seem to develop an uneasy alliance with a neighbor's small dog for a time. Only health issue is a tendency to occasional UTIs, but urinary health supplement food helps with this. Looking for a good home with a likeminded human to keep company and snuggle.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.I'm a classy senior who is seeking a quiet, warm and love-filled home. My past has had some highs and lows, but I'm blossoming in my foster home. At 12 years young, I'm the picture of health so I have a lot of years left. I'm a mixed-breed - more like a toy Maine Coon (at 8 pounds and gaining). You won't find a sweeter cat than me. I have a little chirp and I'm very respectful of lap time - if you let me up once though I'll keep on coming and we can bump noses! I do very well with other pets and I use my litter box perfectly. I'm sort of declawed - someone must have been in training because I sill have some weird little nails on a few of my fingers; they aren't functional though so indoors only please! I like to be held and carried and I'm just waiting here for that perfect someone.  I'm an easy keeper, so please apply for me: https://www.rocketrescue.org/forms/form?formid=5196Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 14, 2025, 1:44 pm

Story
Let me troduce you to Cecilia.. She is a loving, calm 16 year old cat. She may be 16, but she doesn't act or look like it. She gets along with other cats and dogs, even with birds, as long as they are in a cage. With the situation with the dogs as long as they give her space to be a cat. She's fixed. She is a good lap warmer. I would say her weight is about 8 lbs. She is not on any special diet. Although she enjoys fresh cold water to drink. Shes till uses the litter box. I took custody of her almost 3 years ago. But I used to take care of her 10 years ago during the time I was her owner's caregiver. The reason I have rehome her is because I am moving. I would rather focus on positive thoughts knowing that this site will help me find her forever home.

Story
Gustavo a vibrant, one year-old flame point Siamese exhibit, a lively personality. He has a strong affinity for play, and what food well Gustavo experiences my old anxiety this contributes to his distinct character role, notably he is extremely affectionate, often seeking cuddles and displaying his prolific purrer, frequently falling asleep beside his companions. Gustavo needs an experienced adopter as he takes medication to help his anxiety. Gustavo gets along with other cats, but gets nervous around them if he doesn’t know them, but once he warms up, he becomes super playful and is very loving and affection.
