Story
2 year old Fauna is playful and active. She loves batting a dangly toy and enjoys the round ball chaser.  She loves to watch the birds on the patio and thinks she might be able to catch them. She'll let you know what she needs, making you follow her. She'll follow you around and when it's time to cuddle, she'll be right next to you, or snuggled up to your leg. She is cautios but curious with visitors and will play with small children, especially if they are moving the cat dancer or bee. She's very curious and must know about everything you are doing.  Fauna can be a bit of a bully with other cats, so is probably best in a home without other cats. She is untested with other animals.  All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with age-appropriate vaccinations. Young cats have an adoption fee of $175. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this cat, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life. All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with their initial age-appropriate vaccinations.  ##2309502##

Story
If you are looking for a lap cat look no further! Meet Crescendo, a nine year old tuxedo queen who loves to snuggle. This confident girl will make herself at home quickly, loves new people, and is convicned that everyone wants her to be on their lap. She uses her litter box like a champ and has had zero issues at her foster home. When Crescendo is not sitting on your lap she can be found playing with her laser toy, sitting on window sills, or sleeping in a cozy spot. This healthy girl is a LARGE cat (16 pounds!) but is on a weight loss journey and is doing great and down a whole pound! She had a dental recently and is all set to settle into a new home.  Crescendo is an excellent companion and would love to be around people (even kids!) her only non-negotiable is that she needs to be the only pet in the house. All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with age-appropriate vaccinations. Senior cats have an adoption fee of $100. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this cat, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life.  ##2569254##

Story
Meet Henry! Henry is a 7-month-old kitten with a petite gray and white coat and stunning yellow eyes that perfectly match his bright personality. He is part of a bonded pair and will need to be adopted with his feline companion, Boots. Henry is incredibly curious and makes himself right at home wherever he goes. He loves attention and is a true lap cat who happily soaks up affection once he warms up—which doesn’t take long at all. Playful, mischievous, and very food-motivated, Henry will try to play with (or taste) anything he thinks belongs to him, keeping life entertaining and full of laughs. Henry would thrive in a loving home that enjoys an interactive, affectionate kitten and is ready for double the fun with his bonded buddy. He warms up easily to people and has not been around children or dogs yet, so slow, thoughtful introductions would be important if those are present in the home. With plenty of playtime, enrichment, and cuddles, Henry is sure to bring warmth and joy to any family lucky enough to adopt him. All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with their initial age-appropriate vaccinations. Young cats have an adoption fee of $175 each or $262.50 for a bonded pair. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this cat, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life. ##2569269##

Story
Meet beautiful 7 month old Bonnie! Bonnie is bonded to her brother Clyde. Bonnie is smaller than her brother and has a white patch on her chest. She has a smaller face that is absolutely adorable. She is a toy girl and has never met a toy she didn't love. If she has the right toy she will play by herself for hours. She and her brother are VERY food motivated, their favorite time is meal time! Bonnie loves human interaction but can be a little skittish at first. Once she knows you have good intentions she will purr and enjoy the love. She is reserved but a total sweetheart. She is not a super cuddly girl with humans but loves to cuddle her brother and the resident cats. Once she's comfortable she might even give you some face kisses! Bonnie and Clyde came from living outside so they would both love a catio, they may also like to be leash trained. Bonnie is the yin to Clyde's yang, she is calm and he is energetic and silly. She is very bonded to her brother so they need to go to a home together. Bonnie has done great with other cats and has been around an old small dog with no issues. It is unknown how she would do with children but she would most likely be fine with older respectful children. If you are looking for a low maintenance gal, Bonnie is the one for you! All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with their initial age-appropriate vaccinations. Young cats have an adoption fee of $175. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this cat, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life. ##2569243##

Story
Flora is a playful 8-year young cat. This girl loves people and will greet you and everyone else when you come in the door. She will demand your attention by claiming your lap for pets, once you're on the sofa. Flora loves to play and will find her own toys and will chase whatever dangly thing you have. She will follow you everywhere, and will try to get into what ever drawer or closet you're using. Being very curious, she needs to know what you are doing. She's not shy about reminding you about meal times, and can have strong opinions about her food. She prefers crunchy food, and will bury unacceptable canned food. She has played with the young kids as long as they are wiggling the bee or moving the cat dancer around. Flora will be your shadow! She does get along with other cats, and is untested with dogs.  Flora has some sinus scarring that makes her semi-permanently congested, and is more suceptible to upper respiratory infections, so being a 100% indoor only kitty is extra important for Flora. ##2309501##
