Story
Cinderella is 7 years old and has been a great cat for my oldest daughter as she herself was growing up. She is very lovable, likes attention and cuddles. But will also let you know if she’s done snuggling. She sleeps a lot throughout the day and is active in the evening. Her morning meal and snack are very important to her and she will remind you (vocally). We unfortunately no longer have time to care for her like she deserves. We are gone all day into the evening hours and do not have the time Cinderella deserves for love and attention. She’s great with kids, babies, adults, even dogs. She has not been around other cats though, so it would be hard to say how she does with cats.

Story
"Beautiful tabby male with high play energy. Well behaved and loving, but will thrive where he can run, play and hunt. He has been fostered by a family with children, but may benefit by being in a home with another kitty playmate, as he just loves to play all the time. If you are looking for a playful shadow to follow you around and a companion to curl up at night on your toes, then Dipper may be the perfect fit." Story
Meet Henny Henny is a wonderful mother who has lovingly and patiently cared for her kittens. She’s a sweet and outgoing cat who greets you every time you enter the room, her gentle purrs showing just how much she enjoys your company. From day one, Henny has trusted us with her and her babies, and her affectionate nature shines through in every interaction. Henny is playful and curious, still joining her kittens for the occasional romp. She’s a big fan of scratching cardboard blocks and adores fishing toys with feathers, strings, or balls on the end of a rod. Her confident and even-tempered personality makes her a joy to be around, and she loves scratches, brushing (though she’s a little sensitive on her upper back), and being talked to. This gentle love bug is incredibly clean, with no litterbox issues, and keeps herself well-groomed. While she currently prefers human companionship over other cats, this may be due to her protective instincts as a mom. Once her kittens are fully weaned, she may be open to making feline friends, but for now, she’s content soaking up love from her human caretakers. Henny’s eyes are truly striking, with one a captivating blue-green and the other a rich green. She’s not only beautiful but also has a heart full of love to share. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who’ll happily greet you with a purr and a nuzzle, Henny is ready to join your family. You can apply to adopt her on our website. At the time you are seeing this post, this cat is still available for adoption. But please know that we may be working on multiple applications already, and any one of them could be approved at any time. Please READ THIS ENTIRE DESCRIPTION and complete an adoption application if you are interested in any of our animals. The application can be found at https://greendogsunleashed.org. If you send an inquiry to ask if the cat is still available, or just tell us you are interested, your inquiry will not be answered. FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. We can do NOTHING without that. */*/* PLEASE NOTE: We will email you if additional information is needed, so please keep an eye on your inbox and spam folders. */*/* Young kittens will receive age-appropriate vaccines and will be spayed/neutered before adoption. Adopters may be required to provide additional boosters and a rabies vaccine. Future annual vaccines, testing, and healthcare are REQUIRED, and will be the financial responsibility of the adopter. Please note you must submit an application, be approved, and submit a refundable hold deposit before a meet and greet will be scheduled. You can fill out an application here: https://greendogsunleashed.org/adopt While we do allow out-of-state adoptions, the adopter must be able to travel to Charlottesville, Virginia, and meet in person at an agreed-upon time to take their cat home. GDU does ask for a minimum adoption donation of $125.00 for cats. This minimum donation does not cover all expenses as we are funded solely by the angels and volunteers willing to donate time and finances. This minimum donation includes age-appropriate vaccines and flea and tick treatment, as well as neutering or spaying if the animal is medically sound and is unable to undergo surgery. This minimum donation does not even begin to cover each animal's expenses while in rescue, but does go directly towards vet care for our rescue animals. ##2208801##
