Story
Mae is a beautiful, 4-year-old tortie girl. Mae moves through the world like a backcountry traveler—quiet, observant, and deliberate. Give her time, and she’ll reward you with a soft, steady presence and a sweetness that feels earned, not assumed. Tuna and salmon treats are her favorites, and they go a long way toward winning her trust. Mae has a well-documented love of vertical terrain, so a home with drywall ceilings and a tall, sturdy cat tower will help her feel secure and grounded. She does best in a calm, low-traffic environment, gets along well with adult male cats, and would thrive with someone who understands that the best companions don’t rush the bond. If you want to meet Mae, complete an adoption application at queencitycatsvt.org.

Story
Lindsay has come a long way in her human socialization! She has always been a cat’s cat- befriending, cuddling and playing with, teaching, and welcoming new cats, young & old, to the Lounge. She leads with grace and patience, and is the VP of hunting wand toys, springs, little mice, balls, and treats/kibble! She has the different food puzzles at the Lounge figured out, and is quick to approach and follow humans around with interest. Her intense stare, croaky supplicant meow, and frequent use of her paws to investigate objects and knock things out of your hands leads to unending amusement for all. She has progressed immensely with humans, allowing a couple of sneaky pets while she’s distracted. She has been seen cuddling and headbutting all of the other friendly Lounge cats, and has now become very bonded with Lainey. Come to the Lounge to witness Lindsay in all her glory! She’s a special cat looking for a special home with Lainey. If you want to meet Lindsay, complete an adoption application at queencitycatsvt.org.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hi. I'm Cato. I was found playing in the middle of the street with my sister, Venia. She's at Queen City Cat Lounge with me. I've been told I'm a lanky, quirky dude. I enjoy nap-maxxing, and finding tubes & covered beds in which I can truly sprawl. I like to hang back for a vibe check before letting you approach me at speed. Loud noises kind of freak me out, but once I'm comfortable with you, or if you come to me to give me a massage and some scritches, I'll start to appear near you, and let you see The Real Me (trust me, it's worth it). I'm litter-ally from the streets, so if you win me over, you'll get a lot of clout.

Story
Meet RainBow (aka Bowie)! 🐾 Bowie is an 18-month-old brown and black tabby with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This handsome boy thrives on attention and loves being the center of his human’s world. If you’re looking for a devoted companion, Bowie is ready to step into that role! He’s a champion snuggler who enjoys curling up with you on the couch or keeping you company in bed. When he’s not soaking up affection, you’ll find him happily chasing foil balls, pouncing on catnip toys, or darting after a laser pointer. He also loves lounging by the window, keeping a close eye on birds and squirrels—it’s his favorite “TV channel.” Bowie is very affectionate but appreciates having his personal space respected. He prefers not to have hands directly in his face and will give a gentle reminder if he’s uncomfortable. He also takes a daily medication mixed into his food, which he does well with. With a respectful and understanding home, he’ll reward you with endless love and companionship. If you’re looking for a playful, cuddly, and charismatic cat who will truly bond with you, Bowie might be your perfect match! If you are interested in meeting Bowie, complete an application at www.queencitycatsvt.org

Story
Violet is a shy, beautiful petite cat. She’s reserved, yet curious about the world. She loves being around other cats and is quite playful and was very interested in her foster parents' gentle dog. Violet loves cozy hiding spaces where she can feel safe and secure, and of course a soft bed to relax in. She is scared by loud noises and sudden movements, so she would do best in a home without children. This gentle soul would appreciate a patient family who is willing to give her the time she needs to reach her full potential. We expect Violet will thrive in a calm home with a consistent and loving dynamic. If you want to meet Violet, complete an adoption application at queencitycatsvt.org.
