Story
Feeney came to CVHS with her litter of kittens (who have all been adopted) when her owners were unable to care for them. She is a sweet girl who loves attention but also likes her independence. In her prior home she was used to the indoor/outdoor lifestyle and enjoyed hunting. She has experience living with young children and felines and did well with them. Due to Feeney`s personality we feel she may be just fine with a cat savvy-canine with a slow introduction.

Story
Pasta came to CVHS when she had a unexpected litter of kittens and her owner couldn`t care for her and babies. She`s been in a foster home while her babies grow and now it`s her turn to find her next step in life. She has a beautiful coat and she`s an absolute love. She loves her chin being scratched. She did great with kids and people of all ages. She`s calm but will play with toys.

Story
Momma Harper came to CVHS whith her kittens from an animal welfare organization we work with in Kentucky. CVHS tries to help other animal welfare organizations in need, when our current cat population allows. She is a petite feline who can be bashful at first, but with some time she will let you know when she wants attention! Since raising up her kittens in a foster home, Harper has been doing amazing here in our colony rooms with her feline roommates. Due to her personality, she may do just fine with a cat-savvy canine with a proper introduction. She`s a feline who does cat `love nips` so a cat-savvy owner who knows to expect this from the young kitty would be good. Due to Harper`s personality of getting over stimulated, no young children please.

Story
Coconut came to CVHS with her brother when her owners were moving. Coconut doesn`t do the best with change, so she would like to find a place with consistency, a cozy place to cat nap, and a human to give her attention. She is a sweet girl who can take a little time to trust her people, but when she does, she loves attention on her own terms, and will let you know when she has had enough. Coconut has lived with another feline in the past, but has demonstrated here she would benefit from being the only animal in the home, where she can soak up all the attention. She has also had experience with young children, but can get overstimulated, so no young children or canines in Coconut`s new home.

Story
Ms. Kiwi came to CVHS when her owner was unable to find housing that would allow her. She is familiar with an indoor-only household, has lived with another feline, and is tolerating her feline roommates here in our adoption center colony rooms. She is a sweet girl who loves attention, will occasionally be a lap cat, but does prefer to keep all paws on the floor. Make sure to check under the covers before getting in bed, because Ms. Kiwi loves sleeping there. She has lived with older children before, and did great. Ms. Kiwi has never lived with a dog, but has been exposed to them briefly, and did not seem to enjoy their company, but might be ok with a cat-savvy canine, with a proper introduction.

Story
SPECIAL NEEDS - MEDICALEaston came to CVHS with his brother Finley due to some lifestyle changes that were too much for them. He is timid at first with new people, but once he gets to know you, he loves to be petted! He is a sweet boy who would love to curl up next to you on the couch. He previously has been mostly indoors, with occasionally being able to roam outside. He does have prior experience living with canines and children, and did well with them, but may prefer a calmer, quieter home due to his shyer personality. He has done well with his feline roommates here in our colony rooms. For a while we pulled Easton off our website, as we were concerned we were seeing signs of stress, as Easton was plucking his fur. Bloodwork showed that this handsome cat struggles with high blood pressure. We`ve worked with our vet to adjust medications over the last few weeks, and he`s at a good dosage that a willing adopter can continue with him twice a day orally, and the medication is not expensive. He takes his medication like a champ, and appears to be feeling so much better. Do you have a place in your heart and home for a feline who needs a little more care?
