Story

We rescued Grace from the humane society 8 years ago when she was 2. She is our first family pet; shy, sweet, and loves cuddling with trusted adults while watching TV. She has struggled since we adopted a second cat; the stress has led to behavioral issues, including inappropriate urination. She likely experienced trauma before adoption. We have tried medical treatments and behavior changes with limited success. Grace would thrive in a calm home with no other pets and loving, mature owners. I noted that she’s good with kids and not pets, but let me clarify. She’s not aggressive in any way—around children, she simply hides and avoids interaction, which is why she may not be the best fit for a home with kids. She is very sweet. As for other pets, I believe the presence of our other cat has contributed to her stress, so a pet-free home would likely be best for her well-being.

We got Don as a kitten shortly after we got married. He was a wonderful addition to our family as he brought lots of cuddles, playfulness, and joy. My brother and his husky lived with us for about a year, and he and the Husky had a great bond. Playing together, napping, and always searching eachother out. He also did great with our friends smaller dog when they stayed with us for about a week! Since having our son a little over a year ago, he has not adjusted well. He spends most of his time hiding, only to come out during nap time or after bedtime. We would love for him to go to a home with teenagers, or no children so he can again live life without feeling timid or scared. He is litterbox trained, does not scratch furniture, and loves cat treats. He isn’t aggressive, never biting or swatting and overall just wants to play and get lots of cuddles.

Precious was born July 23rd 2017, She can be pretty shy but she loves cuddles and pets but there are times where she would rather be left alone. She loves to chase the red lights and toys that move around because she wants to run around and play. She can be a little lazy and sleep. She’s not spayed, she is pretty picky with the type of litter used and prefers clay and needs to have her litter box cleaned daily as shes a little tidy cat.

Thor was born August 23rd 2016. He’s super cuddly and sweet as well, he’s not a fan of being under blankets but loves to sleep on pillows and suffocate ya when you roll over because hes sleeping right next to your head. He’s an attention hog and will bump his head into you until you give in, he also flops down on his back to get your attention it’s the cutest thing ever! your hand hurts tough he’s not giving in. Hazel was Born December 25th 2015, she’ll such a cute little Christmas baby and has the cutest little white spot on her head. She’s very shy at first but so sweet and gives love bites. She’s a bit bougie and loves to be under blankets, so she can be cuddled and sleep next to you every chance she gets. She does demand loves sometimes which is super cute. She loves to play with toys and lights.
