Story
David, one of the Schitt’s Creek kittens, was brought to a caring volunteer by his mom, a community cat. She was given a warm, safe place to raise her kittens inside and this little man has never looked back! David’s three passions are cuddling, golf on TV and his brother, Mutt (the cat). More on the TV: he LOVES to watch anything, but sports are his jam. He even has his own spot near the TV so he has a front-row seat! Don’t worry though, he’s not interested IN the TV. He is a very playful and gentle kitty. He can be a bit hesitant at first, but his desire to be loved on always wins out and he turns into the cuddliest love bug. He is very laid-back and goes with the flow. He’ll let you know if you’re in by rolling over to expose his belly for scratches so he can get all of the rubs. David is up-to-date on vaccinations and is spayed and microchipped. He is litter-box trained and uses cat trees and scratching posts appropriately. We are still accepting applications on this pet. She was given a warm, safe place to raise her kittens inside and this little man has never looked back after is brother, David said it was OK! He absolutely loves his brother, David and enjoys spending his days cuddling in boxes and baskets with him. Don’t let his lounging ways fool you though; he is very playful and will demand cuddles and pets. If he isn’t getting enough attention, he will let you know that he needs TWO hands to pet him! Stop before he’s done, and he will nuzzle you till you have changed your mind. Mutt (the cat) is up-to-date on vaccinations and is spayed and microchipped. Story
We took Jack-Jack in from a local shelter where he'd been adopted and returned for wanting too much attention. We're just as sad and shocked as you are!   As you can see from his photos, Jack-Jack was literally begging us to help him. How could we say no?  Jack-Jack loves to play and romp around and would love to have a new kitty friend to play with. This super social young man will absolutely win your heart as soon as you meet him!  We're still getting to know Jack-Jack so stay tuned for updates as we get to know him more. So far we've learned that this sweet boy is very playful and LOVES people. Wherever the action is, that's where Jack-Jack wants to be. He has the sweetest little face and would love to be adopted with his friend from the shelter, Purrince Harry, or into a home with another kitty for him to play with.  RHS Adoption Process and Requirements Meet the Adoption Criteria. Story
Poppy Cat came to us very pregnant right before this year's winter storm. She knew she needed to find a place indoors to deliver her kittens and made several appeals to one of our volunteers until we found her a foster and a safe place to start her little family. She gave birth to four beautiful kittens: Alder, Lilac, Posie and Willow, raising them until they were ready to find their own homes. When her kittens went to a different foster home to learn how to be proper little cats, Poppy Cat set about taking the no-more-kittens pledge and is finally ready to find her forever home.  She is very curious about everything and frequently follows her foster parent around the house to ensure she doesn’t get into trouble. She loves playing with toys and other cats but prefers to initiate snuggle times with humans on her schedule. She's very sweet and loving and is still learning who she is as an indoor cat. She will thrive in a relaxed, no-pressure home that patiently and lovingly accepts her for who she is: a fabulous cat. Poppy cat is up-to-date on vaccinations and is spayed and microchipped. She is litter-box trained and uses cat trees and scratching posts appropriately. If you are reading this, we are still accepting applications on this pet. Please read the Adoption Process steps below. Story
Kyler is a super sweet guy looking for a family of his own. His coloring is the typical tuxedo coloring except he has an adorable white stripe down his nose. He is a purr machine and wants nothing more than someone to cuddle with and love him forever. Kyler also loves playing with toys, especially hair ties, and can be quite vocal during play with the cutest mews ever. He gets along great with other cats and would be okay with a cat friendly dog. Kyler is neutered, litter box trained, doesn't mind nail trimmings or getting his medicine, and is estimated to be born around June 2020. Kyler does have a heart defect which requires medicine every 12 hours. Even with the troubles Kyler has experienced with his health, he is still the most gentle and loving kitty. He is shy and has a bit of anxiety in new environments, but warms up quickly! If you are reading this, we are still accepting applications on this pet. Please read the Adoption Process steps below. Story
Miss Lizzy aka Elizabeth Bennet has the *loudest* snore for the tiniest bowling ball of a cat. She LOVES treats (hence her round bod), playing with wands, and belly pets.  Lizzy makes her fosters laugh every day with her funny faces and goat-like noises. She loves hanging out with their resident cats and dog and will need a kitty companion in her forever home to help her be the bravest little calico queen. This mama kitty raised two wonderful boys and she’s now spayed and fully vaccinated, single and ready to mingle. Help give Elizabeth Bennet her happy ending and apply today!
