Story
Please contact Tonya Griffith (TMSGriffith@aol.com) for more information about this pet.Posted 8/19/14, and pictures taken 8/6/14.  Heather was trapped at an elderly woman's home in Jacksonville on 6/17/14, and delivered 4 babies overnight before she was to be spayed.  The elderly woman already has 15 to 18 adult cats and two litters of kittens.  We kept Heather and her kittens in our isolation room after they were born for privacy, and she has since been spayed.  She has the shape of a Siamese, but is Black, and there were two Siamese and a Snowshoe at the house.  I believe this is her first litter.  She was a feral cat, but her hormones turned her into a cat that just wanted to be pet all the time.  Now that some time has passed after being spayed, she is back to being skittish, so she needs a home that knows how to work with her, and will be patient.  She would need to start out in a small room like a bathroom, so a person can sit down with her without her being able to hide.  A long handled brush can be used, as well as catnip, and small amounts of can food to help the bonding process.  She runs from me, but once I have her in a certain spot where she can't run anymore, she will let me pet her, even though she hisses at me.  She can be around older children, but I would not put her around small children, unless she becomes very affectionate, which can happen once someone can spend the time with her that is needed. D.O.B.:     ? October 2013Weight:     6.6 - 7/8/14 Our adoption contracts prohibit declawing of any kittens or cats, it is cruel, can traumatize the pet, and make the pet defenseless if the pet should get outside.  We encourage people to search for kittens and cats already declawed that need to find a new home. $15 adoption fee if placed as a barn cat.  $70 adoption fee if placed in a home, which will pay for her spay and vaccinations.November 6, 2024, 12:13 am

Story
Please contact Tonya Griffith (TMSGriffith@aol.com) for more information about this pet.Posted 9/10/16, and pictures updated on 11/14/18 and 6/22/21.  Ivana and her siblings, as well as their mother Viola, were at an elderly woman's home in the Bullard, TX area, and needing to be relocated due to allergies and moving.  Ivana and her siblings were caught first on 8/1/16, and had been use to the elderly woman, so they were tame with her.  Ivana is very unique in that she also has some Peach coloring stripes under her front legs, and her stomach along with some Gray spots.  Ivana is still a little skittish of new people, but with one on one attention, she would probably be a good inside cat, but could be outside as well. Please contact Tonya Griffith (TMSGriffith@aol.com) for more information about this pet.Posted on 7/21/21, and pictures were taken on 7/10/21.  Danica was running free with her mom Amelia (Orange Tabby) and siblings in Lindale, TX, and was trapped on 6/6/16.  Danica is still a little skittish of new people, but with one on one attention, she would probably be a good inside cat, but could be outside as well.  She loves to be pet, but then bites, so should not be around smaller children. Story
Please contact Tonya Griffith (TMSGriffith@aol.com) for more information about this pet.Posted 7/21/21, and pictures were taken on 6/21/21.  Dana and her siblings were found at a senior living community in Tyler, TX, and surrendered on 6/20/15.  Dana has remained skittish of us, but lets our teenage son care for her and the other cats.  We do have to corner her in our building to give her medicine, or use a fish net to catch her.  She is both inside and outside in a fenced area to keep the cats safe from our dogs.  She may tame down with more one on one attention, but a person would have to know what they are doing, and let her come to that person when she's ready.  She has a white spot on her neck. D.O.B.:     ? April 22, 2015 $15 adoption fee if placed as a barn cat.  $70 adoption fee if placed in a home to pay for her spay and vaccinations.November 6, 2024, 12:13 am
