Story
Hello there! I'm Murray, the most charming orange/white tabby boy you'll ever meet! I was rescued from the shelter alongside my brother, Hopper. While I may seem a bit reserved at first, just give me a moment, and you'll witness my heartwarming transformation. I express myself with a delightful melody of purrs and love "chirping" at my foster parents and feline friends. My foster mom affectionately calls me "Purry Murray" because my purr engine revs up instantly when you shower me with pets. Oh, did I mention my fondness for treats? Catch me eagerly waiting in the kitchen at lunchtime, ready to showcase my endearing trick of standing on hind legs and pawing for treats. The coziest spot for me is right by your side - be it on a chair, sofa, or snuggled up in bed. I'm a spirited cat reveling in playtime with toys, my dear brother Hopper, and our fellow foster cats. If I'm not frolicking around, you'll likely find me enjoying a peaceful nap. And rest assured, my litter box manners are impeccable. I thrive in the company of other kitties, so a home with a feline companion would be purr-fect for me. I'm eagerly anticipating finding my forever family. Don't hesitate - fill out that application for me today, and let's embark on a heartwarming journey together **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Story
Hello there! I'm Hopper, a delightful red/orange tabby kitten, and I've got a heartwarming story to share. Rescued from a shelter alongside my brother, Murray, I sport the cutest red/orange birthmark just below my nose. My foster mom affectionately calls me a "purr box" – a simple chat is all it takes to set my purring in motion. You'll often find me perched on the desk, keeping my foster parent company during work. I've taken it upon myself to stand guard at the window, shielding my foster family from the antics of mischievous birds and squirrels. And let's not forget my love for treats – I don't just love them, I demand them, especially come lunchtime. My foster mom has a little routine where I stand on my hind legs and "beg" for treats before indulging in them. Being an energetic fellow, I thoroughly enjoy playtime with toys, my brother Murray, and the other foster kittens. When I'm not in the midst of play or enjoying a meal, you'll find me cozily napping. With my outgoing personality, I quickly warm up to new human friends. While my litter box habits are impeccable, I'm still refining my use of the scratching post. Given my social nature, I'd thrive in a household with another feline companion. I'm eagerly awaiting the day I find my forever family – could that be you? Don't hesitate, fill out an application for me today!Email info@habitat4paws.org for an application. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Story
Are you ready to add a dash of sweetness and a sprinkle of sass to your life? Look no further, because Daisy is here to steal your heart! This charming little tabby with adorable white paws is currently strutting her stuff in her foster home, but is on the lookout for her forever home. Daisy may come in a petite package, but her personality shines bright. She's got just the right balance of sweetness and sass, making her the perfect addition to any household looking for a little extra flavor. With her soft fur, enchanting eyes, and delightful tabby markings, she'll have you wrapped around her paw in no time. One of Daisy's favorite pastimes is soaking up all the affection she can get. She will happily purr away as you shower her with pets and scratches behind the ears. But don't let her love for attention fool you—Daisy is also fiercely independent. She knows what she wants and isn't afraid to go after it, whether it's exploring every nook and cranny of her new home or simply enjoying some time alone on a windowsill. While Daisy may be a confident little lady, she can be a bit shy when first meeting new people. But with a little patience and understanding, she'll warm up to you in no time and show you just how delightful she truly is. So, if you're ready to add a touch of sweetness, a dash of sass, and a whole lot of love to your life, sweet Daisy may be your purr-fect match! Story
Hey there, pals! The name's Hazelnut, and I'm on a mission to find my forever family. I'm a young adult, but don't let that fool you—I've still got plenty of kitten-like charm to go around. Sure, I might start off a bit shy, but once I've got trust in you, get ready for a purr-fect storm of snuggles and affection! I'm a work in progress with playing with toys. But what I lack in toy-tackling skills, I more than make up for in my love for attention and pets from my humans. I’ll strut right up to you and demand my fair share of cuddles, then proceed to purr up a storm like there's no tomorrow. I'm all about cozying up by your side or snagging a primo spot on your lap. I'm pretty low-key and low-energy. I thrive in a chill environment where we can kick back and be best buds. I've got a knack for hiding around kids, so the quieter home is the better for me. But fear not, I'm a social butterfly when it comes to my furry companions and adult humans. If you've already got a cat in the mix, I'm game to be their new partner in crime! I play with my foster friends often and we all nap in bed together. I had a home and family once upon a time, but life threw me a curveball, and I found myself at the shelter. Luckily, a rescue swooped in to save me from that scary cage life. Think you've got room in your heart and home for a lovable furball like me? Let's make it official—maybe you're the family I've deserved all along! Story
Are you ready to add some zest to your life? Meet Ed, the charismatic orange kitten who's bound to bring joy and laughter into your home! Ed isn't just any ordinary feline; he's a bundle of endless energy and charm waiting to find his perfect match. Ed's days are filled with excitement and adventure. Whether he's engaged in a playful wrestling match with his foster brother cat or darting around the house with the morning zoomies, Ed knows how to keep things lively. His favorite pastime? Batting around wine corks and little balls, turning your living space into his personal playground! His second favorite pastime? Stalking the dog while hoping that this time will be when the dog finally agrees to play with him! While Ed may be a whirlwind of activity, he's also a kitty with his own unique quirks. He's not particularly fond of being picked up or approached head-on by strangers. But don't let that deter you! Once you're settled in, Ed's curiosity and affection shine through. Picture this: you're seated on the couch or cozied up in bed, and suddenly, you feel a gentle nudge at your side. It's Ed, extending an invitation for some quality cuddle time! Story
Tiberius was my dads cat, and I’ve had him for about two years, however we’re moving and can’t afford to own him anymore. He really is an incredibly sweet cat, loves belly rubs and chin scratches. He makes biscuits all the time. He will be 3 in July, and we would love to see him find a home where there are children. He is SUCH a good family cat, and gets along with kids very well. He loves to play with them. His favorite toys are dangly toys and the laser!
