Daughter found a palm sized kitten at a lake she was fishing. Brought him home and had raised him for about 5 months. Daughter has since moved out leaving the kitten with us. I have allergies and unable to care for the kitten. Very playful kitten. We are willing to provide some supplies and toys.

Bought Gypsy from Pet Smart. She was 2 years old at the time. She is 8 years old now. What sold us on her was her high lady like voice. She loves to cuddle and likes head scratches. Knows how to use cat door and is very easy to take care of.

Macie is a darling DSH brown with white tabby female born approximately 9/1/2020. I have been in my foster home for a very long time. I totally understand though. I was so feral that even my foster mom thought there was no hope for me to have a furrever home. But with so much patience and a safe place, I am learning how to not be so fearful. My friend, Ashy, has helped me so much, but there is still that tiny voice that tells me I can’t completely let go of all my fear. I have come along ways and now love to watch birds, play with toys, have my tummy rubbed, and I even get the zoomies. During the day I sleep, but early mornings and in the evenings is when I am most comfortable. With more time and a furrever home of my own, I am sure the days will become more fun-filled and less fearful. I can get along with other cats and probably dogs and kids too, but I may not be a lot of fun until I am less fearful. Do you have the patience to enjoy my company? Nikita, Nickie for short, is a lovely Russian Blue mix female born approximately 10/11/2021. "I was pulled from a local shelter for "rescue only." They said I was so scared, no one would want me. But... from the first day in my foster home, I met another foster kitty, Misti, and my whole world got better. She made me feel safe and showed me that it isn't as scary being around people as I thought it was. We became friends really fast and I watched her and learned how to be a cat. No longer scared. My foster mom gives me treats in her lap and pets me. I have slowly learned to trust people - especially if you have food! Just show me the bowl and I know what it is. I will entertain you with playing, or just enjoy cuddling on the couch. I share my foster home with many cats, but would really love my own fur-ever home. James is a handsome DSH orange tabby male born approximately 3/13/2021. James was originally rescued by NBCR along with his mother and his 6 other siblings. He and his brother, Jacob, were then adopted into a loving home. Sadly, through no fault of their own, they were returned to us about a year later. They have since been in a long-term foster home where they are much loved and cared for. They would still love to have a truly forever home to call their own. James and Jacob are quite bonded. James is timid and super shy except with humans he feels comfortable with. He sleeps with his foster, but still can be startled if she moves too fast. He would do best adopted with his brother as they seem to find comfort having each other's presence. They both like people and attention, but they do still get scared easily. James isn't quite as brave as Jacob, so he isn't quite as comfortable out and about through the whole house. If it gets too much, he will go upstairs until things calm down. Really, James' needs are simple: a calm person and place to go to when scared, someone to sleep with at night, and canned food every day. That's his happy thing! They would probably do okay with kids who are calm and give them time to adjust. James is microchipped and currently in a foster home. His adoption fee is $105. October 14, 2024, 2:52 pm
