Story
Hi, I'm Meow Meow! Age: Approx. 3 years Gender: Spayed Female Breed: Domestic Short Hair Favorites: Comfy beds, head scratches Energy level: Low Other important info about me: I’m a pretty laid-back girl and really just want a home where I can hang out and get lots of pets! I don’t have much interest in toys or even treats, just attention from people. I appear to get along well with people of all ages, but I am not friendly with other cats, so I need to be the only cat in the household. I haven’t been tested with dogs at this time. If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an adoption inquiry through this listing, email mbas@montbelvieu.net, or call us at 281-214-9045!

Story
Hi, I'm Porch! Age: Approx. 1 year Gender: Neutered Male Breed: Domestic Short Hair Favorites: Comfy beds, snuggling with people Energy level: Low-moderate Other important info about me: I was found on the porch of the local animal hospital, hence the name "Porch." I was in poor condition and had a badly injured leg, but thankfully I was in the right place and the kind vet staff fixed me right up! It took about a month and a half for my leg to heal, and I may never walk normally again, but I get around fine and am happy as long as I have a comfy spot to lay and people to love me! I am friendly with people of all ages but I can be a little shy, so I may do better in a quieter home. I appear to do well with other cats, but I haven't been tested with dogs at this time. If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an adoption inquiry through this listing, email mbas@montbelvieu.net, or call us at 281-214-9045!

Story
Trevor is playful, curious and confident. He transitioned easily into his foster home of several small dogs. He is initially reserved with strangers but warms up quickly with toys or treats. He is quite the biscuit maker and knows how to put on the charm with his foster mom. He loves playing with toys and checking out the neighborhood sights from his window perch. This former long time shelter kitty resident is looking for a forever home to call his own. Trevor does have Feline Leukemia. Cats with Feline Leukemia can live normal happy lives they just have a shorter life expectancy. Feline Leukemia is only contagious to other cats. It is species specific and not contagious to other pets or people. Trevor would be fine living in a dog household or in a home with another FeLv positive cat. He does do well with other FeLv cats. Trevor is healthy but because of his FeLv status he would need to be indoor only cat and is at increased risk of illnesses if exposed to diseases. A good diet, low stress and regular veterinary visits are recommended. Trevor does not need any special medications or treatment. You wouldn't know Trevor is FeLv positive by looking at him and he deserves a life with dignity and to be adopted into a loving home. There is no adoption fee on Trevor. We are just looking for a loving and caring home willing to give him a chance at life. All cats/kittens are spay/neutered, fully vaccinated, treated for any parasites, tested for Feline Leukemia and FiV and receive a microchip with a lifetime of free registration.

Story
If you seek a consistent, reliable, and devoted feline companion, look no further than Chip. This sweet, affectionate cat delights in human company. This loving and snuggly boy adores curling up in your lap, offering affectionate purrs and gentle head nudges. Though reserved at first he quickly warms up to new acquaintances. Due to his quiet nature a peaceful and non chaotic home would make him feel the most cozy. Chip would shine as the only pet and would flourish in a home as the center of attention and single adulation. He is about 4 years old and has a playful, spirited nature. Whether chasing imaginary foes or simply lounging in the sun on his back, Chip’s endearing antics make everyday life brighter.
