Story

Conrad recently infiltrated a managed cat colony and bullied them at feeding times. He seemed always to want interaction with the feeder but was too fearful outdoors and skittered away when approached. Once he was trapped and settled indoors, however, Conrad’s gentle nature took effect. Returning him to the outdoor lifestyle was not an option. Since intake, this sweet young man (estimated to be about a year old) has been neutered, vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP, combo tested (-/- for FIV/FeLV), dewormed, de-flead, and microchipped. He is a champion litter box user and is not fussy about food. Conrad is exceptionally docile and gentle - not at all the cat he was when scrapping for survival outdoors. His face, paws, and tail exhibit Tabby striping, but his body is flecked like an Abyssinian. He’s a gorgeous fellow, inside and out. Please request an adoption application if you’re interested in providing Conrad a forever home. He is not dog-tested, but he truly does want to be the only cat in the home. Maurice is one of four kittens in a litter that we found when they were just 10 days old. We brought his family indoors, mother included, and made sure that the babies would grow up knowing and appreciating the human touch. Now six months old, Maurice’s personality is fully revealed. He’s highly extroverted and fearless, but he’s also super affectionate and appreciates a good snuggle. Maurice has been neutered, is up to date on vaccines, is negative for FIV/FeLV, and is microchipped. He is not afraid of cat-friendly dogs. Solo adoption will be considered, but preference will be given to parties interested in adopting a bonded pair. He and his sister Frida, with whom he is pictured, are quite close. Story

Kitty is an affectionate 7 year old. I took him as a lady moved and could not keep him. He went from inside cat to outside country cat and loved it. Husband and son-in-law worked on our property. They picked up a pile of schrubs with tractor and when they set it down, cat fell out and got away. I found Kitty with injured leg. Went to vet broken in 2 places right hine leg amputated. In between my health, i work, plus the dogs in our neighborhood have killed 3 of our outside cats. I am afraid if he went outside, they would kill him too as he can't run. Because we have 2 small inside dogs that don't get along with cats, Kitty stays in the bathroom, which is no life for any pet. He needs a better place; a loving and safe indoor home.
