Meet Kate! With her striking green eyes and beautifully patterned coat, she stands out wherever she goes. The vet says she's part Bengal and occasionally has the activity level to match. She’s a social and curious cat who loves to be where the action is, whether that’s stretching out on the couch or watching the world go by from the window. Kate enjoys being around people but also values her independence—she’ll keep you company without being overly demanding. She’s adaptable, observant, and has great litter box manners. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance, curious companion who likes to explore and be part of the household, Kate would be a great fit! Story
Hi there! My name is Silver and I am looking for my forever home. I thought I had my forever home for a couple of years, but my previous family had some hardships so they made the painful decision to surrender me back to Habitat 4 Paws. I’ve been with a great foster family for a few months and I am slowly coming out of my shell. I’ve been through so much in the last couple of years that I have a hard time trusting and adjusting to new surroundings, but I’ll get there! In my foster home, I have a playful cat sibling and a dog who’s a little bit afraid of me. In my true forever home, I’d love to have a playful cat sibling (I LOVE KITTENS!) or a small playful dog. I do have one quirk. I drink water by dipping my paw into the bowl and then licking the water off my paw. If you add ice cubes to my water bowl....wow, that's a good time!! I love scratching on my cat tree and exploring the house when it’s quiet. At first in my foster home, I wouldn’t come out of my hiding spot except at night when the house was quiet. Now, I come out and interact with my foster siblings during the day, too. I love to chase the little red dot laser pointer and that feather on a stick. I’m also the world’s best fly catcher! You humans are still a bit scary sometimes, but once in awhile I wind up in a human lap and accept all the love and scratches. I'd do better in a home without a lot of noise, so small kids might not be the best for me. I’ll learn to love you people eventually! Can I spend some time at your house? Habitat 4 Paws offers a one week home trial, but I think I may need more time than that to adjust. Talk to the good folks at Habitat 4 Paws and see what y’all can arrange. Email info@habitat4paws.org for an application. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Story
Hi, I’m Soba, a tiny ball of energy wrapped in fur! If it moves, it’s a toy. This includes tunnels, other cats tails, and yes, even your feet. I specialize in zoomies, dive-bombing, and turning absolutely everything into a high-speed chase. The phrase "full kitten mode" was basically invented for me. But don’t worry, after I burn off my energy, I turn into a total cuddle bug. I’ll curl up on your lap, pass out like I just ran a marathon (because I probably did), and sleep like a champ day or night. Kids? Not scared of them. Dogs? Haven’t met one yet, but I’m open-minded. Other cats? I don’t snuggle them, but their tails make fantastic playthings. We coexist just fine and lay by each other in the same area—no hard feelings! I’m easy to please when it comes to food, and my litter box habits? Purrrfection. So, if you're looking for a kitten who is equal parts wild child and snuggle bug, I’m your girl! Story
Hello, My wife bought this cat 13 or 14 years ago. She really liked cats. unfortunately she passed away last year. which has been a very difficult road for my 12 yr. old daughter and I. We are doing better now, but still healing. I debated whether or not to keep Snowball or re-home her. Honestly, I have no problem with the cat, except for the litter box duty and constant cat sand through out the house. I'm just not a cat guy, and my daughter is not attached to snowball in the slightest. I'm ready to part ways with her. I'll be moving this summer, so I want to get a head start looking for a new home for her. Snowball is roughly 14 yrs old. Not sure how much longer she has, but she seems to be in good health. She loves to cuddle. I should've named her Cuddle Cat. folks have told me to keep her and let her live out her days at my house. Others say, cats can live up to 16 or 17 yrs. I really don't want a cat for potentially another 3 or 4 years. please come get her!

Story
We adopted Rico as a kitten from the Humane Society when we first moved to Texas. He is 8 years old. We love him dearly, but need to rehome him because some of our family members have developed allergies. He is very loving and very sweet. He is mainly an indoor cat. He will go outside sometimes for a short time. He is litter trained. He is skiddish around dogs, so a home without dogs is best.

Story
Skitters will be 3 years old in March and has been with us since she was a kitten. She is loving, shy, and a little skitterish (hence her name). We unfortunately need to find a new home for her because she started to fight with our other cat and doesn't enjoy being around the young kids in our home. She will thrive in a home with an adult and as a single cat. She spends time inside and outside, but prefers to be inside. She loves to sleep by the window, curl into blankets and scratch her scratching post. She is litter box trained and microchipped. We are sad to see her go and want to make sure she ends up in a loving home. She can become your new lap cat and best friend if you are interested!
