Hi my name is Cleo and I was living in a house that was horrible , I wasn’t fed or given water a lot of days and wasn’t treated very well . One day these people came to my house and picked me up with a net and threw me in a cage and brought me to a shelter that said I wasn’t friendly and wanted to kill me . I’m shy , love to be held for awhile, petted and talked to . My life was saved by Forgotten pet and Wildlife Rescue and I have a foster that’s teaching me I can trust . My husband and I are preparing for an extended work assignment abroad, leaving in August 2025 and returning in February/March 2027. We have two wonderful indoor cats who are deeply bonded and truly part of our family. We've explored options with friends and family, but unfortunately, no one is in a position to care for them while we're away. The thought of surrendering them to a shelter breaks our hearts, and we're hoping to find a way to keep them safe, loved, and cared for until we can bring them back home. Rochester is a 4 yr old Tux. Domestic Shorthair and Siamese mix. He is a little snuggle bug, with the sweetest meow!
