Story
Mimis needs a low stress environment. She is very sweet and loves to curl up on your chest for snuggles. We have had her for 4 years. We took her in from some friends that had her and could no longer care for her. Unfortunately, she has some behavioral issues. She pees along the baseboards. I think she would do better in a home without any other pets. She seems to like kids that are not overly handsy. She tolerates dogs and other cats, but is easily stressed by them. She has been treated for possible UTI issues, but it is believed her peeing is a behavioral issue due to stress. We have a dog, a toddler and another baby on the way. We are a military family, so we are constantly moving which is even more stress on her. We had 2 other cats that have passed away in the last 2 years. She got along with our male cat, but not the female. Mostly because our other female did not like her.

Story
Ivy was originally given to my daughter by a friend as a farewell present when she moved to another state: I stayed caring for Ivy until she was settled for it was a 7-wk old kitten:needless to say we bonded and here I am today having moved as well: Ivy has stayed with me for 2.5 years now. I wish for a stable home for this kitten: she has had it rough with me for I've been moving countless times within the past 2 years and its the same every time: her hiding away, eloping and this is just not the kind of life she deserves. Although Ivy is extremely cautious when meeting new people: once she's around ya for a good minute she welcomes you with her gentle head butting. This sweet yet feisty grey tabby needs someone whos owned a cat before and is patient and can understand why she has become the way she is: her cautious walking around the kitchen and running if pots and pans are sounding is due to her having gotten accidentally burned in her back once; thankfully she recover fur grew back

Kitty loves to cuddle, snuggle, and play when you want. Never aggressive, and is Litter box trained. She needs your attention & love so preferably a family that isn't gone all the time. Please help find her a home so she doesn't have to go to the shelter (which is full of other cats).

Story
Beautiful black female cat with a small white spot on her chest. Is due to be spayed and get updated shots on may 15th. She is timid and anxious but is very sweet. Causes no problems, just stays to herself and will come seek affection when she wants it. She is prone to utis due to stress and is currently being treated for a stress related uti due to us bringing our newborn home. She has been around other cats and a dog her whole life and has had no issues, just doesn't like our baby which is stressing her out. She is on gabapentin as needed for stress and pain and will need to be on a special urinary food as per vets request.

Story
Leia is an extremely smart, sweet cat, with a beautiful physique and she catches on to things very quickly. She is very friendly once she warms up to you, but this may take some time and a build up of trust. She is easily stressed by sudden, loud outbursts and does not respond well to the sporadic behavior of children. She currently lives with her litter mates and mother, and is used to being around other cats. She tolerates dogs but does not care for them. Leia has had one home since birth and may need an adoptee with a good deal of of experience with finicky animals. Leia is 12 years old and in great physical condition, however she has been diagnosed with anxiety and depression. She has not been using the litter box consistently within the last year. She has been starting fights with her siblings and mother and it may be in her best interest to be in a home where she is an only cat at this stage in life.
