Story
The Cookie kittens are full of love and looking for a foster home to snuggle up in while they are receiving medical treatment. These kittens can go to foster solo, in pairs, or as one big group! Cookie Litter Consists of: Thin Mint, Samoas, Tagalong, and Trefoils Reason for Foster: Ringworm & GI Upset Foster Timeframe: 2 Weeks + (The foster timeframe could be longer depending on future medical results and needs.) Foster Care Plan: The Cookie litter is being treated for GI upset. Once they are feeling better, they will begin their treatment for ringworm. Ringworm is a common fungal skin infection. This can be contagious, so it is recommended that they be kept in a room away from other pets. Be sure to wash your hands and change clothing after interacting with them. A room without upholstered furniture or carpet is ideal. These kittens will need regular lime sulfur dips and will go home with antifungal medication. We will provide a full medical consultation at pickup to ensure you are prepared to take great care of these little ones. Visit this link to learn more about fostering a pet with Ringworm: https://operation-kindness-foster.my.canva.site/ringworm-foster-guide Foster to Adopt Program: Trefoils is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption.
