Story

Denali was found injured in a hoarding situation. The doctor estimated she had lived about a week outside in the Texas summer heat with her leg injured. By the time we found her, infection had started to set in. Unfortunately, the leg had to be amputated and Denali had a long recovery. Now - 2 years later, she is living a great life and prefers to spend time on the top of the cat tower in the sun. Denali is very docile and shy. She will take a bit to warm up, given her traumatic history, but her cuddles are worth the wait! Due to her amputation, Denali needs to be on a joint supplement for her hips life long. An experienced owner that can accommodate for her decreased mobility would be preferred. She is currently staying in a home with multiple cats and dogs. She does great with all of them! Meet Opha May! We have had her for the past few months after finding her at a week old in the hood of a truck. She was bottle fed and raised by humans and dogs. Opha May is very sweet to her tribe and has a very independent personality! She does have a history of being a bit spicy at her veterinary visits and does better warming up to new people on her own time! There are no kids in the house so it is unknown if she would do good with them. It is recommended that Opha May finds a home with someone who is experienced with cats and can accommodate her slow to warm up personality. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines. Please apply if interested!
