Story
Does your cat need a companion? Nick needs one too!! Nick is a very sweet and loving 2.5 year old cat, a perfect mix of cuddly and independent! We got him from a nearby humane society a few months ago but it's become clear he is lonely as a single cat and would benefit being in a home with a friend. He's not aggressive and if something bothers him, he'll typically just walk away. He will require some patience from his new owner for him to get adjusted to you and his new surroundings, but he will come around! Nick currently lives with only females and may prefer it that way (he seems a bit skeptical of men). He's an indoor cat but seems very curious about the outdoors. He loves to sit at open windows and watch birds. He also likes to take long naps during the day and play soccer with plastic caps. And he LOVES treats! We would really like to find Nick a great home sooner rather than later and would love to meet you if you are interested. Thanks!

Story
This is Jinx. He is 5 years old. He is super sweet and loves to be held like a baby. Jinx is great around other animals and kids. He also LOVES to play with the reflection of light and lasers. His favorite thing to do is to plop down on his back to let you know he wants his tummy rubbed. I think he would be a perfect addition to anyone’s life, but I also believe if you are a family who is looking for a first pet, maybe for you kids, he is a really great option. He’s literally-box trained and will lounge around. He’s doesn’t need any behavioral training because he’s already so kind.

Story
Lima came to me as a 1 year old from a shelter. I am not sure why she was surrendered but our first year together was incredible. It was just us and I can tell she thrives in that situation. She became jealous with the arrival of my now husband, and even more so the arrival of my son 4 years ago. You can just tell she only wants me and dislikes everyone else. She's not good with other animals and not patient with young kids. She doesn't have her front claws and MUST be an inside cat. She didn't get her shots last year becauseshe has huge anxiety in the carrier and at the vet (poops herself, the whole 9). So I just keep her inside and try not to stress her too much. She's got a lot of love to give and it pains me to be at this point but it's been 10 years of her noted displeasure and now 2 solid years of her being spiteful and clearly unhappy. I know the right person is out there and pray that person reads this post and connects with her story. ❤️

Story
Archimedes is so gentle!! He is the adorable, ragdoll cat that is just perfect for families with children. He LOVES kids and loves to play and snuggle with our young children (all under age 5). He is very sweet, gentle, and loving. Our family absolutely loves Archimedes, but we have found ourselves in a very different life situation since adopting him and we are unable to care for him. We would love for him to find a wonderful home and if he could stay with his bonded mate, Artemis. Please reach out to me with any questions or for pictures.

Story
Hello humans. We are bonded brothers who are looking to find a home that is willing to serve all our needs: a roof, food, and love but also space to adjust. We came to NLOL after we were abandoned by our people, then harassed by the established community cats. This has made us a bit cautious and although we want attention, we are still unsure at times. We require daily feeding with sensitive stomach food. We demand treats and wet food as well. We will give you the proverbial "stink eye" if we don't get our daily "enrichment". We are both litter box trained, neutered, microchipped, have age-appropriate vaccines, and are on flea prevention. If you are willing to give us a chance, you can adopt us together for $50. **Adoption Center Policy: All cats must be INDOOR ONLY and shall NOT be declawed.**
