Story
We think Penn was born around 2017. This chill, handsome dude is Penn. He’s a chonky (ahem! muscular!) boy whose best friend is Sally. These bonded pals must be adopted together. Penn’s interests include catnip, vibing with his girl Sally, endless chin scritches, contemplating the meaning of life, and treats. If you’re looking for a low maintenance, easy companion, look no further. Penn is ready to fill that role. Full disclosure: Penn needs to lose a few pounds. He hopes his new family can help him achieve his health goal. Although they can’t go to a home with dogs, Penn and Sally do well with other cats and might enjoy gentle, respectful children. What are you waiting for? Ask to meet these sweethearts today. We were notified by a good Samaritan that Sally & Penn were left behind when their owners were evicted. Our hearts went out to these senior kitties. We did have these two fully vetted - they even had a full dental. They tested negative on their FIV/FELV tests. What do you say? Are you ready to welcome these loving cats into your home? Fill out that application today. As it states below, application required and we do deliver kitties to their new homes. We do everything we can do to find purrfect homes for our kitties. $100 adoption fee. Hardest part of rescue is: - Not being able to save every cat. - Finding excellent homes for our rescues. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application, https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information. We do not have a shelter. All our rescues are in foster homes. The adoption fee insures that all cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), microchipped, vaccinated for FVRCP (feline distemper), dewormed, and have been treated for fleas.

Story
We think Sally was born around 2017. Meet Sally! This friendly, confident girl excels at her job as an assistant to her foster mom. From following her from room to room, to sitting by her for hours, contentedly gazing out the window, to asking for more ear rubs, she’s a fabulous coworker. Did someone say perfect? Sally doesn’t travel solo. Her constant companion is the ruggedly handsome Penn. Sally and Penn are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Sally does have one firm requirement: no dogs, please! She was once attacked by a dog and prefers to avoid them. In her spare time, Sally enjoys playing with her collection of catnip mice, cuddling with the other foster cats, and deep philosophical discussions with her bestie Penn. Story
DOB 4/15/24 Look at this handsome, demure boy in his gray tuxedo! Tax can be a bit shy at first, but once he knows you, the real Tax emerges. This goofy boy likes to talk, will beg to be picked up and held, and gives soft head butts when he wants attention. He’s even good about nail trims. Like any teen boy, he has a big appetite and loves to hang with his friends. When he’s not playing race track with his siblings, he entertains himself by carrying his favorite spring toy around the house or cuddling with his foster mom’s dogs. At night, you’ll find him sleeping in bed with his favorite human. Tax is bonded with his brother Levi and needs to be adopted with him. They’ll entertain you for hours with their antics. Do Tax and Levi sound like the perfect duo for you? Ask to meet them soon. They’ll be waiting for you. -$125 adoption fee per kitten. Story
DOB 4/15/24 Pin, a beautiful Torbie, will probably always be a cat who takes time to adapt to a new home and hides when visitors arrive. She is a shy, quiet girl who relies on her big brother Cobra to help her be braver. You may have to coax her with treats and toys, but once Pin feels safe, you’ll be rewarded with a sweet cat who loves snuggling on your lap and purring a love song just for you. When she’s not enjoying some lap time, Pin enjoys quiet playtime with her siblings, especially her favorite brother, Cobra. Pin gets along with other cats and has lived with three large dogs. She is bonded with Cobra and needs to be adopted with him. Two cats are always better than one! Ready to add some love to your home? Ask to meet this brother and sister today. -$125 adoption fee per kitten. Hardest part of rescue is: - Not being able to save every cat. - Finding excellent homes for our rescues.
