Story
Meet Spencer. Approx. age is 6 y/o. He is an indoor/outdoor cat, but prefers to be inside, especially during colder weather. He enjoys sitting in laps or nearby, and loves attention. My mom, his owner, had to move to a nursing facility, and we cannot keep him. I feed him, but unfortunately he is living outside full-time now, so I’m concerned for him as the weather gets colder. If you love tuxedo cats, or all cats, he just might be the right cat for you!

Story
Judy, born July 2023, Aside from being a beautiful ginger girl, Judy is your all-around amazing kitty. She is super sweet, playful, friendly, and affectionate. She will roll around reaching out to get your attention. Judy loves to play and can get a bit crazy, but is also very easy going and loves just hanging out with you. She has a sweet musical purr and she will melt your heart. Judy has bonded with Juliet and will be adopted together. They would do best in a home where their person/persons have the time to spend playing and spoiling them. No small children. Silverton Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Story
This gorgeous girl is Juliet born June 2023. She had a rough start to life being born outside fending for herself, so she is shy with new people. Once she trusts you she becomes a very sweet, playful, affectionate girl who will come to you for attention. Juliet loves to play with her toys and the other kitties. She joined a litter of 3 kitties at her foster home, so she could have kitty friends. She will sit with her people, and purrs the whole time. Juliet loves being brushed, so keeping her beautiful fur in top condition is a breeze! Juliet would be best in a quiet home with someone that understands it will take time for her to adjust and will let her be who she is. Once she gets to know you she will become very outgoing and affectionate. Juliet is such an amazing kitty and will win a place in your heart. She will be adopted with her friend Judy. Juliet is still very shy with new people. She also need to be groomed daily to keep her fur mat free. $100 adoption fee per kitten. Hardest part of rescue is: - Not being able to save every cat. - Finding excellent homes for our rescues. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Story
The name Mikka means “who is like God?” Mikka, may or may not think she is God, but she does think that she is gorgeous classic Tabby. Don't you love her striking black and gray swirls. Mikka was born approximate 06/2022. She came to us wth kittens. This young mother was very protective of her kittens. Once she was spayed, she is much happier and not quite as sassy. Mikka does not tolerate dogs She does great with other cats, but would need a slow introduction. She does have a Tortiefoster sister, Georgia, who she loves napping with. Mikka does like to play. Mostly she like surveying her kingdom from the sofa. Mikka would make a great companion for you. I don't think she would be a good match for bouncy children. -$100 adoption fee. Mikka has been neutered, vaccinated, treated for parasites and tested negative for FIV and Felv. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Story
We think Penn was born around 2017. This chill, handsome dude is Penn. He’s a chonky (ahem! muscular!) boy whose best friend is Sally. These bonded pals must be adopted together. Penn’s interests include catnip, vibing with his girl Sally, endless chin scritches, contemplating the meaning of life, and treats. If you’re looking for a low maintenance, easy companion, look no further. Penn is ready to fill that role. Full disclosure: Penn needs to lose a few pounds. He hopes his new family can help him achieve his health goal. Although they can’t go to a home with dogs, Penn and Sally do well with other cats and might enjoy gentle, respectful children. What are you waiting for? Ask to meet these sweethearts today. We were notified by a good Samaritan that Sally & Penn were left behind when their owners were evicted. Our hearts went out to these senior kitties. We did have these two fully vetted - they even had a full dental. They tested negative on their FIV/FELV tests. What do you say? Are you ready to welcome these loving cats into your home? Fill out that application today. As it states below, application required and we do deliver kitties to their new homes. We do everything we can do to find purrfect homes for our kitties. $100 adoption fee. Hardest part of rescue is: - Not being able to save every cat. - Finding excellent homes for our rescues. Story
We think Sally was born around 2017. Meet Sally! This friendly, confident girl excels at her job as an assistant to her foster mom. From following her from room to room, to sitting by her for hours, contentedly gazing out the window, to asking for more ear rubs, she’s a fabulous coworker. Did someone say perfect? Sally doesn’t travel solo. Her constant companion is the ruggedly handsome Penn. Sally and Penn are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Sally does have one firm requirement: no dogs, please! She was once attacked by a dog and prefers to avoid them. In her spare time, Sally enjoys playing with her collection of catnip mice, cuddling with the other foster cats, and deep philosophical discussions with her bestie Penn.
